Someone made a fab claufortis in class today for a taster session it was so yummy and had 400g cherries in it. Anyone know the syn value for 400g cherries? Ta

2 syns in 85g cooked cherries without sugar, so about 9 overall

Do you have the recipe for the clafoutis (spelling???!!!)? If so, how many syns overall, and is it worth it?

great recipe well worth syns as it was huge and at least 12 large slices, so less than a syn each, will post recipe later as hubs wants pc!

ok, heres the recipe.

400g cherries stoned
4 eggs
500g vlf fromage frais
6 tablespoons sweetner
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon almond essence

mix everything except cherries in a bowl, add cherries and cook in a flan dish sprayed with frylight in a moderate oven til set. We had it cold in class and it was devine, delish and im going to make it this weekend

It's on the SW website in the desserts section - it's 1 syn per slice!

You can use tinned cherries but that increases it to 2 syns.
I made it and wasn't keen on it myself....:(
