Chicken stock

I am now on my second week with slimming world so i am still learning as this may sound like a daft question.
Tonight i poached a whole chicken (Which i presume is syn free although i didn't remove the skin till cooked)
the stock i have left over is that classed as free or do i need to syn it????
 
If you chill the chicken stock all the fat will rise to the top, then you can take it off and it will be fine. Throwing it away would be a terrible waste - real chicken stock is SO much nicer than anything made with a cube!
