Chilli sauce

    I'm doing a doner for my tea, but how do I make a chilli sauce to go with it?

    6 fresh tomatoes, chopped
    2 tablespoons of tomato purée
    2 medium onions, chopped
    4-5 fresh chilli peppers (according to taste), chopped
    1 crushed garlic clove
    2 tablespoons wine vinegar
    1 tablespoon sugar
    A pinch of salt if required

    Method

    Place all the ingredients into a heavy pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring the mixture continuously. Allow it to cool, then pour it into a food processor and blend until smooth. Return to the pan, and allow to simmer for up to half an hour or until it has reached the preferred consistency.

    4 syns for the whole thing, syns per serving depends on how much you use.
