    Ok, weird question for ya

Whenever I eat the choc orange shake- as a mousse, hot or cold drink the back of my mouth feels 'peppery' as if it's spicy- or when you've put too much white pepper on food. That's the only way I can describe it... I really like the flavour though, but this is strange. Has anyone else had this or something similar?

I get the same hun. With a couple of others too, and when I asked my CDC she pointed out the ones where I had this 'peppery' taste were the 'lactose free' shakes.

It is very odd! I can't have the lactose free ones now, i found the peppery taste got worse.

That's the word I wanted...wonder why that is? Don't think it's the 'lactose-free' part- I have the cappucino one and don't have probs with it :/
