Last night was steady. Got chilled tho n took ages to warm up when I got home. Got a migraine now tho n gotta head back in shortly :-( Think it's gonna be a busy one tonight. Bah.

Evening Claire... Hope it's not too busy! Xxx

Put my back out again!! :-( Home a lil early. Got the tens on, lecky blanky warming it thru n popped a tramadol. Hope it doesn't make me feel sick but gotta try something. Meant to be back in work by 1500 this afternoon. Really don't wanna call in n say I can't go in but I'll have to see how I feel really.

Oh dear Claire, that is not good!!! Time to go and see a chiropractor I think!!!

Morning Cliare - how is your poor back today? I agree with Jo, go and see an expert and see if they can stop it going all the time on you xxx

Well the tramadol combined with tiredness knocked me out for 4.5hrs of half decent kip. Feels a lil better. Have had to ring in work tho as can still hardly move. Bending is agony. Sods law I had to speak to one of the supervisors I don't hugely get on with who's now put me off as sick today when I'm not sick I'm injured on duty, something different which shouldn't count as sick on my record. Grrrrr. So annoyed at my back n him. Will see how I feel tmoz as to whether I go in for my last day.

No it sucks monkey balls.

Called at mum n dads for dinner as planned. Boiled bacon, new tata's, carrots, sautéed cabbage n onion sauce. Yum!

Claire don't push going back to work just for the sake of the supervisors!! They have a habit of making you feel guilty for being off sick but if it happens to them it's a different story!!

Sod em, you won't get any medals and you'll end up knackering your back for good! What would you rather, a pissed off skipper or dismissal from the job due to disability?? xx

How does the signed off injured on duty thing work hun? Don't know anything about it really. When I rang up he was like 'well can't u just come in n stay inside n do stuff?' I was like 'no. Not today. I can barely move'. Baring in mind I only did it the early hrs of today. It's hardly been a long while has it lol.

Lovely dinner round mums n the walk there was nice n not too sore. Walking n laying are defo the least painful things to do. Getting in n outta cars is the worst. Closely followed by sitting on a hard loo seat.

Oh bless you Claire!! Sounds horrible!! Take care xxx

People who don't suffer from a back thing have absolutely no idea how bad it can be, take no notice of supervisor thing and take it to a higher level if need be, and yes, chiropractors are brutal but mine saved me from a lifetime of pain, yes I get a touch of sciatica now and again but I am so much better than I ever could have hoped at my age xxx

Claire, make sure it goes down on your return to work form....does Flint House cover your force area?

The rehab place that's like a mega complex full of physios, Dr's etc through our line of work!

http://www.flinthouse.co.uk/

You're entitled to a few weeks there free as you were injured on duty also and it's meant to be lush!!

You need to go through your Fed for the forms, they specialise in back problems!

Look into it xxx
