Clover's Herbalife Journey :)

Yay my watch has arrived!
Too excited to get out and monitor my progress! Its pouring here but the watch is waterproof, may end up just going for it and getting out there! I like to run In light rain but this is abit more than light ha ha

Reinstalled minimins app so I hope the photo uploads xxx

So I bit the bullet and went running solo.. I always go with my boyfriend, hes like a comfort blanket! But as the weather cleared up I thought id give it a go and go alone with my new running partner.. the watch. Its fantastic and such a motivator, so glad I got it. Although I regretted going alone when a couple of kids shouted nasty things at me.. the worst being.. 'look its a dancing whale' :( I put my best foot forward, stuck a middle finger up at them and carried on running.. I did have a little weep but I didnt stop my feet.. I may be a size 14 top and 16 bottom but I dont think im the biggest person who ever attempted running, the little c*nts. Now I feel even.more self conscious than I did before :(

On a better note managed 3.1 miles (5k) and burnt 402kcals :eek:

I can't believe those people said those things to you but good on you for carrying on regardless. I'm a bit jel of your watch it looks ace! When you have soya milk do you have sweetened or unsweetened? X

Thanks, I did think about running my fat ass over there and walloping him in the face! I just told myself.. im lapping ahead of everyone on the couch. The watch is amazing, cant wait to see melyself beat my personal records. Its really motivating, my run finished at 2.2miles (I wasn't sure how long thw cycle was in the first place) and.thought to myself, lets do 3.. so I turned around and ran again to make it up to 3. U upload ur runs to garmin.connect and set goals and see your improvements on graphs etc, love it!

Aww thanks hun, I toldy boyfriend and I ended Up crying, so annoyed that I let little shits like that get to me! When I go back to the park alone im gona stick to trails runs as they are quieter I think.. I went round the lake and it gets busy as there is a cafe and kids park there..
Aiming for 5miles tomorrow with intervals, im going to double my run intervals though :)

Oh gosh I do hope so! My legs have been aching like mad today. Went to get new running shoes (I have an old pair from a couple of yrs ago but since then I damaged an ankle and tore ligaments and have a very flat foot now) I did the 'wet test' andthe difference between the 2 feet was surprising.. my left is 'Normal' with a gap for the arch and my right was as flat as a pancake. So Il need specialist shoes with added structure.. the guy I saw was a complete tool and kept giving me the wrong info, so I left and im Gona try a more specialist store.

What running shoes do u have? Im thinking of.going with oasics or mizumo. Xx

Sts for me this week.. a few reasons I think.. I wasn't 100% when on nights last week and I have upped my exercise.. not sure if its normal but I usually gain a lb or so when I rev up my exercising? My whole body is aching with selayed onset muscle soreness! I wont be able to manage 5miles today :( dont know whether I should still go out and run best to let the rest.. im walking like johm Wayne and groaning at every movement! X

Sts is good, try and get those scales I told you about when you have some cash as they tell you more than just weight. Go for a gentle jog it will ease your muscles but not 5 mile as I fear you will not be able to walk at all tomorrow

I always find I can run when I'm in pain and it's easier than walking lol.

Well done you and ignore them! I stick to road running with my music high, that way I can't hear anyone ;-)

Remember muscle weighs more than fat! x

I have salter scales, they tell u body fat etc but I wonder how accurate itrl really is so tend not to use the settings! I didnt pluck up the courage to go out again, I was in agony, I did some exercise at home like squats, weights and situps, legs are feeling abit better today but im at work all day booooo x
 
Menu today:

Breakfast: f1 tropical and soya milk

Mid morning: blueberries and greek yogurt

Lunch: rocket, spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella, spring onion, chicken style quorn, boiled egg and cucumber with pesto. Apple

Mid adternoon: herbalife protein bar

Tea: f1 shake (not decided on flavour yet!)
