I love coconut oil. I take it from a spoon, rub it on my skin and use it in my hair. I think most chemists have it now but if you google it you can buy it online too. :)

Hi Sue, I got Fushi Extra Virgin Organic coconut oil, from whichever seller was cheapest! So far I've used it in rich chocolate MiMs (see MiM recipe sticky) instead of oil/butter, and have it off the spoon too at a mealtime - not as yuk as you'd imagine :) They recommend to start with 1 tsp a day building up to 2 to 3 tbsp. There are lots of things you could cook with it too, think I might try a stir-fry using it. Lucy :) x

Quick update, have received four bottles of this - 100% Pure Coconut Oil - Parachute

500g for £3.95 and £3.95 for delivery (why I got four), and it arrived about three days after ordering.

You have to put it in hot (not boiling) water to soften it up but that took five minutes, and it tastes delish :)

Hi, my local Tesco sells jars of organic coconut oil now down the isle with olive oils etc. Similar price £3.95 for 500g. You can order them online, but I spotted some in Tesco so bought it. Not sure if it helps the weight loss, but it tastes lovely in stir fries and curries and is cholesterol and carb free.

I leave it in for about an hour wrapped in cling film. It's great on your skin too. :)

Since starting using coconut oil I've kinda gone off using olive oil - I find the taste far too intense! lol:)
