Confused, how much have I lost?

Can anyone clarify how much iv lost this week please.

I was 18st last week, Mondays weigh in saw me at 17st 10lb so is that a loss of 3lb or 4lb?

Its confused me becouse theres 14lb in a stone, so is it a case of 13lb..14lb new stone or 13lb new stone, do you actualy ever see a 14lb on the scales?

I know this is the most simplest of questions but its realy confuddled me

There are 14lb but the 14th becomes the next stone if that makes sense? So 18, 17.13, 17.12 etc.

You've lost 4lb...

There is 14lb in a stone however you'll never see 14lb flash up on the scales as it then goes to zero for the next stone bracket
