hello everyone.ive only just come on here so im a little bit lost. I have however been reading all about the posts for diet chef and this is what id like to talk about. I am in fact a single mum but i am so very desperate to lose the weight i am carrying.I can just about afford the money if oi do the overtime and my ex (the children's daddy) as offered to help me out....But what i need to know is does it really work. I dont want to have to spend this money, and work more (less time with kids) if its not going to work.Im a little frightened of trying.so can anyone help. thanks for reading.

    Hi,

Now I'm new to diet chef but am not new to dieting.

If your concerned about money (I agree diet chef is expensive) Have you tried just calorie counting your food and sticking to 1200 calories a day? This is basically what diet chef is, with a bit of research on the internet you can even choose low gi foods from the supermarket for alot cheaper.

Diet chef just takes the having to make the right choice about what to buy away as everything they offer is healthy.

Will diet chef work? if you stick to it then yes it will work. But what you have to ask yourself is if you have to work more and spend less time with your kids is this going to de-motivate you?

I don't mean to sound negative. having to work more may be your motivation to stick to it 100%. The fact that it costs so much is a big motivator for me as I don't want to wast my money.

As I say i'm new to diet chef but I'm sure other members will be along soon to let you know their losses.

I just want to make sure you are 100% motivated before ordering your hamper, and we will all be here to keep you motivated on your Diet Chef journey if thats what you choose to do.

    Catherine

Hi it is alot to send and I know how you feel justifing the amount, but it does work. If you are 100% the weight does come off and the food tastes great as well.

I am back on the DC wagon after falling off for holidays but I was over a stone lost in 5 weeks so I know that if i can get my head back in gear i will lose again.

Only you can make the decisions we can only offer our views and experiences. Good luck with your choice. ;)

I've been on DC for 3 weeks and lost around half a stone so far. To be honest, I think it's not badly priced compared to the meagre offerings of the meal replacement diets, which charge over £2 per shake/bar.

Buying it monthly is by far the best way to go. Though £190 seems a lot, it's 5 weeks' worth of food. Try to honestly tot up what you currently spend on food for yourself and you might find there's not as much difference as you thought, particularly if there are regular times in the week that you buy lunch out.
