Really likes to cook
I always cook a boiling bacon joint in Coke, weigh the joint and cook for 20mins per 1lb plus 20mins,cover the joint with Coke. All the salt and any other ingredients are drawn out , DO NOT TRY TO DRINK THE COKE AFTER it looks and tastes horrid, just throw it away!
The bacon joint however tastes fantastic.
As I am now in SW I will try it again using Diet Coke instead to keep it Syn free.
