Corn on the cob...not free!!??

I discovered this the other week and was wondering if anyone knew WHY! Why is corn on the cob not free on red, yet sweetcorn is!?? It's bizarre lol

I think corn on/off the cob is free on green as it's higher in carbs than most veg.

It's the mini salad corns that are free on red

I thought sweetcorn was only free on green too. Very high carb.

The only corn free on red is the baby sweetcorn - like what you would put in stir fries.

Aaaah, that answers things.....I've been a bit dippit and thought that baby sweetcorn was normal sweetcorn! lol. Won't be doing that again

love the word dippit, good old scottish one lol. I had a panic when I saw this thread as I had corn on the cob for lunch other day but am doing ee so hope it is allowed or I am in trouble.
