Couch to 5 kilometres (C25K) Challenge!

I doubt its completely flat, there is no track... It'll be like running around an area of the park if its anything like the last 5k I did in there. I walked most of that though. Don't worry hon, I doubt I'll be fit to jog the whole thing either! We will try our best!! X

Its just a bit disheartening because I was going so well on the treadmill and I'm finding it so difficult outside, even trying to get the time with the kids and all.....:(.

Awwwh hon... I know its hard outside. I find it hard too! And some days way harder than others. You are doing great and don't you forget it! I'll prob be walking some of that 5k too cuz even with training outside I still don't think I can run for that long!!

Well see how you go, there's stall time to build up a bit. Maybe if we run 5 minute intervals, then walk 90 seconds then run etc. etc.? X

What I've learned is there's a big difference between 3 mins and 5 mins. I die doing just 5 mins but grand during the 3. :(

Restarted today... Gonna do either tomorrow or sat for number 2 and number 3 on sun :)

U two can do it... Just keep at it ;)

I did 6.0 and 8.5 today - that right? Means 5k will take 35/36mins even when can run constantly... Cx

All right girlies, I was finding things too difficult going from the treadmill to outside training for this 5k, so for the time being I am following the operation transformation plan for 5k. Can I still record in here or will I come back here after the fun run?

I've done week 3 day 2 of this plan outside which consists of 2mins walk & 3 min jogs X 6 times. I found it doable but enjoyable:D
 
I think u should still record it here... I started the c25k week one day one today. Did my 30mins around the estate. Was grand...will see how i get on...
 
Oh god no im only starting. Im slow but im just gonna try my best. Its weird how i can be so (fit) at one type of exercise and so unfit at another.
