Anyone ever been to a Curves gym or something similar (circuit training)? I made an appt for my free workout and just wondered if anyone knows if this stuff works. Looks like Pol is defo shaming us into into getting cracking on the exercise front!

Ok girls, wish me luck - my free trial is tomorrow morning. Don't know if I'll trudge the 2km in the snow or if I'll take the car, I guess I'll see how much more snow has fallen by morning

Trial workout done! I'm such a weakling! My legs seem to have average strength but my arms are like limp (fat) spaghetti Now to decide if I want join

When I started skating, I did one session - about an hour and a half - and I could barely walk up the stairs for nearly a week afterwards. Shame I didn't keep it up.

Maybe I'll start going again.

Yeah, that's me - give up right away as it seems too hard. I imagine just sticking with it for a couple of weeks would make all the difference in the world! So get those skates back on and have another go at it

Haha. Okay okay, I will! No sessions I can get to this week though as I'm off to my folks house for a few days from tomorrow. I will however, get changed, pull on my wellies and go for a walk around the lake.
