    It's been a while since I poke my head around the corner in this lovely forum. Hope everyone is well and getting to where they want to be.

    Current interest is cycling.
    It's now part of my daily commute. Only 2 miles each way, but quite an amount of hills involved, so I know I've worked at the end of the day.
    This is having a great effect.
    Managed to get a new bike through the cycle to work scheme into the bargain. Nice new Trek 1.1

    I'm actually a little heavier than I was, but the cycling has added muscle and taken off fat. I'm happy with that as an outcome.
    Resting heart rate is down to 60BPM too, which is even better. For my age, it seems that's on the borderline between excellent and athletic.
    Whoulda thunk it :)
