Hurrah, it finally came to an end.

On Monday I was on a course and at lunch 2 ladies had their LL soups, I told them how well they were doing to avoid the food. Me, I was envious of them. I have been dietingish this month. Lost 3lbs the 1st week, gained a lb each of the next 2 weeks and lost 1 more lb this week. Yes a 2lb loss for the month. That is ridiculous...

On Tuesday I bumped into my ex cdc in the school playground and I asked if she was still doing it and she was. Before I could stop myself, I booked myself in for 14:30 that afternoon. She asked me when I wanted to start, well Monday would be the start of a new month and plenty of time for me to stuff myself full of my faves before the diet began. No, I will start tomorrow, so easy to say aloud. No, I would only have shakes & tetras, bars will wait. It's ok, I'll be fine.

Today I have been determined to stick to it. Drank the water, had my packs, kept myself overly busy at work. Forgot about the loo thing, weird traipsing off there so regularly. Making kids tea, didn't sample it or finish their left overs, even the healthy bits.

So today has been my new start. I don't want to faff with a pound on and off. I want 2.5 stone off and be sitting happily in my work trousers (not digging out the generously elasticated versions because they say size 12). I have the Hannah Waterman dvd (just 10 mins a day apparently) and even played it a couple of times, I got resistance 1kg weights. I need toning up.

I have done CD before. I know it works. Just down to me now.

Shakes & water, bring it on!

Thanks both. Cicerone, your losses are impressive - nearly a stone in 2 weeks. That is just the sort of motivation I need.
