ahhhg i feel dog rough. my cdc said i'd feel like I've been 'dug up', she's right...I actually feel that way... i feel cr£p, it's my TOTM too, which I usually suffer with but not like this..

Is this normal, and more importantly is it ok, should I carry on?? I don't want to come off CD but I only want to stay on it if this horrible feeling is normal. how long will it last..?

i'm going to sit in the living room with some water...

pleaase reply to me :wave_cry:

Just keep going, it does get better, i would say after my 4th day i felt fantastic! Unfortunately u have to contend with ur totm as well. Im in week 7 and my totm has only just arrived as think diet has delayed it and the pains have been awful but u will get thru it as this diet is so so worth it. Just looking at ur pic, is that u on ur wedding day? If so ur dress and flowers look virtually the same as i had!! Since the wedding i put on almost 2 stone! Shocking but im back under my wedding weight now so very very happy! Keep going u can and u will do this!

YES, this IS normal, at least if my experience is anything to go by and YES hang on in there... get through the next few days and you won't regret it! I promise you!

Lie down, sip your water, have a deep bubble bath... go to bed if need be... do whatever it takes to make you feel a bit better (but without breaking the diet).

It is SO worth it, trust me. You CAN do this... this is just a first hurdle and if you can get through this (and my word, it's hard!) then you will never look back! One of the things that has kept me going is remembering how dog rough I felt on the 2nd day and NEVER wanting to feel it again.

It's your body having an eppy about you doing something totally different. The key is to drink lots of water and rest as much as you can. If you handle music then listen to something that either makes you grin or makes you relax.

I only felt that rough for the one day and each day got better after that, if it helps you, check out my diary (the early part) and you will probably see you are NOT alone!

Good luck - you won't regret it and you will be back in that dress in the blink of an eye!

Take care xxxx

thank you sweet heart, I feel a tiny bit better after some water, just come in this room to get my house coat as I'm getting cold now which i believe is normal. yep darlin, that's me, my first goal is to be the same weight as I was on my wedding day, which is approx 13st, not sure of exact weight as my weight was up and down before the wedding. I was a 16/18 on that day so that is my first target.

You have done so well sweetie, you are an inspiration, I shall think of you as I go and get myself relaxed on the couch while my sweet little girl watches Maggie and the Ferocious Beast on telly.

My roses were BLACK BACKERRA (not sure of the correct spelling) they are a beautiful deep red.. almost black hence their name. They look more red red on the piccies because of the camera flash. Don't ya just love roses hun??

sorry to go on, why I am going on when I feel ill I dont know...LOL I'm for some water and a sit down... hope to catch you again hun and thanks for the advice x x x good luck in your quest to losing weight hun, keep up the good work, wow, you've lost so much. well done x

Hi Sophia-jo, I've just completed my first week and days 1-3 were awful i felt really sick but honestly it gets soooo much better. By day 4 i felt great, more energy than i've had for a long time. Keep going it really will be worth it. I wrote a list (a very long list!) of all the reasons i want to be slim and every time i feel like giving in i look at my list and i soon come to my senses! Keep going you know you can do it xx

If you are feeling sick try splitting your shakes in two, so that you have 6 half shakes instead of 3 full ones - that helps to cut down the concentration of the minerals & vitamins that go into your system.

if you click on my user name above my avatar and look at my public profile I think you can search for threads I started... it is in the Weight Loss Diary section of the site. It's boring and long but if you want help getting through today, it might be of some use as it expresses the beginning days somewhat graphically, lol

Take care and I really hope you feel better very soon. :)

may just do that hun, I did wonder if I was overloading on what is in the shakes as I've gone a day without food before and never felt like this... I dont really like the taste of them though, I hope this changes, cheers lenny x

Thanks so much. I have never found a diet i can stick to but everyone is saying how much i have lost and its really keeping me focused. U look really slim on ur wedding day, u must be really tall to be 13 stone as im only 5f2 and at 13 stone i was the size of a small elephant lol! Yeah my roses were something similar, i had cream roses for bridesmaids. My roses had crystals dotted around in them as well which looked lovely. When did u get married? Mine seems so so long ago now, was last june, cant believe how quickly this year has gone! Hope u feel better soon! x

How you feeling Sophia?
still feeling yucky, a little better at the mo, but I seem to feel worse..on and off if that makes sense? I come to check on the threads each time I go to the toilet.... feeling a bit hot and sickly now....better go sit in the living room, got scooby doo on for my DD, she's a little square eyes so she's made up today, watching all the telly that she wants too. We just watch STITCH on dvd, great, he's sooo cute.

Better go top up my water. I am soooooo hoping that I feel better soon, does everyone usually feel better by day four?? I hope it lasts no longer than that... I dont think I could cope. phew,, really hot now.

ttfn xx

Hi Sophia, I felt awful on day2 & 3 but woke up today feeling wonderful. Yesterday was the worse, it felt like I was very drunk aswell as feeling ill. I couldn't drive or go out and was in a lot of muscle pain. Thankfully I could rest and had put the kids dinner in the slowcooker so they could help themselves. Went to bed wondering if I'd done the right thing but today, day 4, as I said woke up feeling great.
So stick with it, hope you feel better tomorow, but if not can you arrange to take it easy?
PS Can now sit down in trousers without having to undo them .

Hi paula, today is day 2 for me. I feel much better, not 100% but a lot better. I do worry about how i'll feel tomorrow though, Can't wait til day 4, this seems to be when most people feel good.

How about you? How many days have you been on CD?

oh my goodness, it's awful isnt it?? Oh, I'm glad you are feeling better today. My jaw has been tight and achy and my ears a little bit too. It's my TOTM so I feel crappy anyway, but I feel much worse because of CD, had a banging headache and dizzy and basically drunk like you said. I hope I have a good night and hope I dont feel ill tomorrow... I had to stay in today. I'm at home with my DD anyway but we go out most days.
Know what you mean about usually having to undo your trousers when sitting down.... bet you feel great now you don't have to :) so do you have your weigh in on Saturday?

It really will get better, honestly. By day 4 I was a lot better.. some people find it hard for the first week, others sail through the first week and then it hits in the second or third.. we are all so very different.

I'm now 9 months down the line and feel fantastic.. if you can persevere you will see amazing results. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever lose my weight.. but it's going and almost gone now (just under 11 stone lost and another 19lbs to shift) ... and I am so glad I stuck it out through the revolting first few days.

Glad you are feeling slightly better, I'm sure that if you keep the water levels up and get rest you will be so much better by Friday :D
