day 2 of restart, struggling :(

I am only on day 2 (of my restart after 2 weeks off, and the previous 2 or 3 weeks on-and-off after a couple of 100% months) so this is really pathetic, but I just am struggling so much not to rifle through the fridge :sigh:

I know the best advice is get out and about and do stuff, or keep busy etc do hair nails so on, but my dissertation is due in on Thurs and I can't do anything but that because I haven't finished it and feel guilty if I do anything else. I'm trying to concentrate on that, but just sat here at the laptop is so hard without letting my mind wander to food!

I've had all 3 shakes already and about 2 litres of water at least, probably more like 3.

Theres tuna and mayo in the fridge from when I made my OH some lunchtime tuna mayo melt toasties and I'm dying to have some, and toffee crisp popcorn open next to me from the cinema last night and I'm dying to gobble it all up!! (edit: not my popcorn, I had nothing at cinema obv! They're my OH's)

ARGH! If I eat I'll be back to square 1 and I have so far to go, I just need to get on with it or I'm delaying my goal weight further and further. Each time I think '1 day won't hurt, I'll get on it tomorrow' but 1 day always turns into much more (like a month!)

What can I doooo...was gonna watch Supersize vs Superskinny as per someone's advice to someone else on here I saw, but there isn't any new episodes lol I've seen them all!

Hey Hun, I can remember how stressful and tedious completing your dissertation can be - though it's been years! It's so easy to excuse having s break for eating!

It's even easier to say one more day then back on track ( I have the same thing running thru my head right now) bin the popcorn or put it put of sight - i know u feel guilty taking a break but 1/2 hr wont hurt to get your mind off food and regain focus. Get some of your old pics out, go and try on some of your new clothes - you look amazing in your pics and your progress has been fantastic. Look in the mirror - your progress to date is inspiring. Eating will only make you feel better while your doing it but the guilt after isn't worth it!

Thanks I'm glad you understand my pain!! It's the hardest time not to eat when you're home all day. Your advice is great and I will crack out some pics...the period pains dont help and it was a rubbish time to start really! But couldn't put it off any longer!

Sorry you're struggling a bit as well but well done on getting through a week with such a great loss! x
Have a look on here at the before and after pics, seeing everyone look amazing always gives me a boost. Oh and throw the popcorn in the bin! Lol x

Right....you can do what I do and make your OH eat the food that's tempting you or throw it in the bin! This time next month you could be 12 stone something and a size 14!! That means going into super trendy clothes shops..not having to go straight to the back of the rail to look for 16's and 18's...this means looking super fine lol we've had our two weeks of over-indulgence! I don't want my summer to be hot and sticky...I want to wear dresses and skirts and not to rub my legs raw! Who's with me for a non-chaffing summer? Lol xx
Yeah I'm totally up for that! I want to be in near my 11s by the end of June, (I'm just in my 13s at the moment) so I might still get chaffing in the summer but not halfway to my knees lol.

My OH is sat next to me eating chicken salad that looks divine and he's been ordered to eat the key lime pie in the fridge tonight or its being binned! I am not cheating anymore! xx
