Day 2 - This is hard! Coke Zero - Herbs and Spices

Hi all

I am currently on day 2 and struggling already! (Determined to stick at it tho)

Have been looking at some great ideas on here and looking forward to trying the 'latte'

Been told that coke zero and dr pepper zero are ok to drink? Is this right and if it is will it affect weight loss? Also herbs and spices?? Can they be added to the soups?

Hi Sarah, I was unsure about coke zero wasn't allowed it on lighter life, but I have been drinking loads of it and it certainly isn't affecting my weight loss. Weight falling off me ! (thank god ) hope that helps x

Hi, I am only on week 2 with exante (but did lighter life last year and lost four and a half stone ) the first few days are hard but if you can get through them I promise it will become easier . I am doing it now without any trouble and I am only on week 2 I have lost another 5 pounds so far this week making a stone in less than 2 weeks I am overjoyed !! I can not sing its praises enough , keep it going let us all know how you do this forum is brilliant for help and advice

Keep at it hun...I'm on day 3 and while it's difficult sometimes, you have to want it! Imagine you slim...take it from me as a re-starter, it gets harder every time you try! The first week is hard, but it gets easier once you're in ketosis.

Aw hun, I know how you feel but (and forgive me for sounding like a motivational speaker :rolleyes:) if you try and find something positive out of this it will be easier even in the first week! I used to look at VLCDs as evil, torturous diets that I was sue I'd fail...and guess what..I did.

Now I'm only on day 3 and not saying it's been a bed of roses, but it's not been anywhere near as hard as I0've made it before. I literally just get on with it and acceot this is my choice for the next few weeks. I also use hypnosis CDs to help me deal with cravings, self-esteem and weight loss. I find they help and reinforce my beliefs that I am indeed worth the effort!

I'm sure my crap days will come but right now I concentrate on one day at a time and no more! If I think about day 7 my head starts to hurt and I get all panicky!:sigh:

Always rant on the forum! We're here to help and support and share!
 
Morning everyone here. I felt exactly the same last night that it's so hard & that I can't cope. So I made myself a mint tea & went up to bed so nothing will tempt me as my family were having their dinner. I didn't drink my mint tea because it made me feel sick. So I just drank water. I was up every hour to go to the loo. But when I got on my scales this morning I found out I've already -7lbs & was I happy with myself to continue with this plan. I know we feel like we're on our own & we sometimes think we're the only ones not eating until we come on to this forum where we find everyone here understands what were going with & we getting an Amazing support which I find helps us all with our journey to our soon to be slim self. So I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone on this site. Beleive me without each & everyone's support I Beleive most of us would have given up by now <3 x x
 
Well done for sticking with it, definately not the easiest of diets to begin with is it.

I noticed in your signature that you seem a bit annoyed at eating chicken and salmon with the packs. So far as im aware a small amount of protein wont harm you so if you feel like your struggling then have some chicken if it'll help :)

It is a hard diet isn’t it? I am only on day 9 but yes I know what you mean… I struggled so much from days 2-7 that I really thought I was going mad! Was for some strange reason on an emotional rollercoaster and even brooke down a couple of times, I thought I was abnormal! I agree with you this site is an absolute gem! I always log in when am struggling and normally get engrossed reading that forget I feel hungry.

Big well done on your weight loss, that is fab!

Many thanks for your message, yes I have been and still am beating myself up about the chicken/ salmon... convinced I will gain weight as ate 'proper food'.
