Day 4 in the big Lipotrim House!!!!!!

Heya y'all so i thought i'd jump in to give you all an update on how we are getting on.

Well day 4 for me started bad i had a sore head and no sleep hardly the night before. i had to call into work sick again today i'be been off all week sick (non LT related). didnt take any painkillers just filled up on water and held off til about 2 o clock before my first shake!!! SPent most of the pm cleaning (the house and Myself lol).

Mark finished work early and came home on top of the world. We spent an hour or so chatting at which stage i could see mark starting to fade a bit!!! He's been struggling badly today. I think as most of you know it's pretty easy to keep going during the day but come the weekend and the evenings its hard to keep the motivation.

Any suggestions as to what you can do apart from eating and drinking that can entertain would be appreciated. and some motivational speaking would be helpful too.:)

I myself am struggling a bit cant stop thinking about food but when i do i try and think of something else or switch off and do summat else to take my mind off it.

So we're sitting up getting ready to watch a film on a friday night which for us is kinda dull we're usually out on the tiles but sure it's only for a few weeks...right!!!!

Keep the replies coming especially for Mark and some suggestions as to what i can say to keep him going ... peace out xxx:D

Keep yourself busy, go for walks, runs, get out really, clean the house, watch dvds, anything ya can think off just to get the idea out of your head, ya are not allowed food!!

As for the headaches that ya are having that is normal and happens in the first few days, ya could be withdrawing from something or not having enough water!!

Tell mark he is doing great and to keep going until that first weigh in, the first week is always the worse and if he needs us he knows where we are, we will always give him advice whenever he needs it. Watch a dvd, curl up on the sofa and enjoy each others company, if that doesnt work I would normally suggest a very nice hot relaxing bath and dont forget the bubbles!! Gud luck guys, by the way whats the dvd that yas are watching?

Again just keep busy for the next couple of days as then you will start to feel much better. The sense of well being comes along just when you need it and then you dont seem to think of food so much!

you and mark are doing absolutely great! Guess the key is to not think about food, although I must admit I was thinking about eggs last night (of all things!) hmm.. things to keep u busy ... to be honest ive been watching lots and lots of tv, have been catching up on Heroes etc etc.. i have my wedding plans to keep me busy at the moment so cant complain!... what hobbies do you guys have? if your the creative type maybe you could make something, that wud keep your mind off things for hours. im gonna start painting soon, want to make something nice for the living room, hopefully that will distract me long enough from food.

keep it up xx oh also... give mark a massage :p

how strange is it the things that you think of mark has been thinking of eggs and me tomatoes weird i wonder is it some type of nutrient your body is craving????

he aint been as bad today so far but its still early days... i think if he knew he was in ketosis he'd be a lot better. i bought him some green and peppermint teas to give him a different taste, all small things but hopefully it helps

that is strange! you'd think we'd be thinking of yummier foods!...
maybe you guys should get some ketostix.. i know it makes me feel so much better knowing im in ketosis. i check every morning.. and it really gets me going for the day!!..

I've been craving eggs too- and I never normally eat them-not since hatching chicks in school 2yrs ago- eggs now gross me out!
How weird.
I know what you mean about needing to keep busy. I am sitting upstairs while my other half has a sausage sandwich. The smell is amazing and my stomach is grumbling. I've got 1 more shake to have, so will go down when the sausages are all gone!

I've decided to take up ice-skating! Going on Monday evening, with a friend. Is there anything that little bit different that you could take up?

Hopefully you are both feeling better today.
I just try to keep busy and when there is no work to do, I read all the threads on here.
Strange cravings going on, mine have been for lettuce leaves and green beans of all things !!!
