Ill be starting LT on Thurs morning. I have some exante packs left from a go with that before (couldnt do without a proper weigh in). Was considering using these from tomorrow until i get my LT stuff. Im actually just getting over a bug and my appetite is still low. Would it be worth doing this? I wont feel deprived of food as i dont really want it just now anyway. At least with packs im still getting some sort of nourishment. Im well other than the lack of appetite.

I can't see that it would do any harm but you'd drop lots of water weight in these first few days so your first official LT week probably won't show as big a loss as you might have expected from reading this forum. But as long as you weigh yourself on the morning you start Exante and then again the morning you start LT to see how much you've already dropped then you'll have a better idea where you are. You might want to mention what you've done to your pharmacist too so they are anticipating a smaller loss in your first week on LT. Good luck on LT. It's so worth it and honestly, not half as bad or hard as I was expecting before I started.

i just think itll be easier for me just now, rather than waiting till next week when my appetite may be back with a vengeance. Would get the LT stuff earlier but dont get paid till wednesday.

sounds good to me... although if youre fighting a bug, make sure you are in a reasonable state of health as if your immune system is low you might feel like utter crap and struggle to get better. But if you think you are over the worst of it then theres no reason why starting with exante would be a bad thing. Just like cate said... expect a slightly lower loss at your first official weigh-in as you will have lost all your glycogen and water storage by the time you start LT! x
