Depressed :(

So, I started this three weeks ago.

My starting weight was in October last year. Between then and now, I managed to lose about 7kg.

I started with a really bad consultant who didn't know what she was doing, and ended up doing SS but with 4 packs a day - I'm 5ft 3in so should have only had 3. I lost 5lb in the first week. In the second week, after reading up on it more, I removed one pack and lost 6lb. I then signed up with a new consultant who suggested that since my BMI was now under 30, and I was craving food, I should move to step 2. I was hesitant, as I want to be at my goal by September, but she assured me that I should continue to see good (allbeit slower) losses.

So I went to weigh in this week after doing a week on stage 2 and I had lost less than 1lb :(

I've been 100% since day one and don't understand why it would fail me so much :( I'm really upset about this.

Is this comon when you go up a stage?

I'm considering going back to SS until I'm at target, and then starting the stages, then if I don't lose, it's no big deal.

I'd love to hear your thoughts?

Week two and three losses are often smaller and bear in mind that your body is still adjusting from SS to 810. Keep the faith and you will soon start to lose again x

I think that while your body is adapting to the new calories intake you might expect a slower weight loss for the first couple of weeks or so. But that should even out eventually. I'm on a 800 calories diet since the beginning and my WL hasn't been so great the first weeks but then it eventually evens out to the losses of people doing SS.

When you do SoleSource, your body lets go of about 5lbs of water and glucose stored in your liver. On 810 plan, because you are having food even though it's only a little, your body will start storing water and glucose again. You will gain 2-3lbs because of this. So you probably lost 2-4lbs of fat this week, it just didn't show. Soon it will do and you'll feel a lot better.
