Well I have decided to start a thread after 2 weeks of stalking everyone elses and trying to work out whats what on this forum. :D

I need to loose weight I am unfit and its getting unhealthy and I need to moderate how much wine I drink (maybe this is the wrong forum!) so I am determind to loose weight.

I have put on about a stone every decade up to my forties and I am the heaviest I have ever been. I have lost weight previously with WW which is good but I cheat on it! I tried SW once three years ago and lost half a stone. I still have the books etc and with the help of this forum hope that I will be able to do it myself. When I lost the half a stone I was a stone lighter than I am now!

I have a really busy life, work full time and am married with a daughter aged 8, so I have to plan the diet. I have been going to two weeks its my second WI tomorrow, I lost 2 and a half pounds last week. I usually give up though when I have lost about a half a stone and feel better, I need to keep going I would love to loose a stone and a half, so hear goes. :rolleyes:

Update July 2014, that was 2 years ago. I lost half a stone. Stopped then lost almost a stone in 2013, stopped slowly put on. Now July 2014 I am going to start again. I would love to loose 2 stone but one will do for now. This time control with alcohol and portion control......

Update September 2014 - have re joined class and gonna try my best to loose 1 1/2 stone!

Well felt ill last night. Went to bed early no dinner and a thumping head. Weighed myself today and lost 2 and half pounds, hope its not false because I had no dinner last night!

B - almond oats and more and milk HEX A & B

L - Ham and chicken salad, with cottage cheese and light salad cream (3 syns?)

Snack - apiece of home made chocolate cake my pal at work made and I couldn't say no too, 10 syns? treat for skipping dinner last night!

Well cold day today and I am hungary!

B - two weetabix (HEX B), milk (HEX A) and sweetner and a small banana, haven't had weetabix for years and it was lush!!!

Snacks - a muller light and peaches and pineapple in own juice.

L - WW Chicken and lemon risotto which this website tells me is 9 1/2 syns

Dinner - the plan is chilli con carne and salad which is currently bubbling in my slow cooker at home.

Fact is it seems you are doing very well by all accounts. Don't beat yourself up if things go a bit askew now and then...happens to the best of us. Just get up and get going again and you will soon be seeing great results and feel soo much better too.

Thanks so much Emmaline, I am determind to loose weight. Its going ok and there is so much I can eat!;)

Well not sure waht sort of day today probably Red, need to go shopping on my way home from work.
B -2 x weetabix and milk (HEX A & B) and a banana

snack - muller ligth and strawberries

L - ham and chicken salad with boiled egg, low fat salad cream and reduced calorie coleslaw (7 syns all together?)

Feel ok not hungary and fell like I am constantly eating......!

Definate red day.

Snack - 2 x alpen lights (HEX B no 2) and some carrots.

D - Chicken curry made with a Pataks sauce and garlic spinach.

The sauce of i am horrified about and think its probably about 10 syns or something. Next time need to make the curry with Pataks paste.

The curry was alright last night but I prefer it with the Pataks paste anyway so will do that in future. Less syns. Had a couple of glasses of wine which I should have synned.

Today is a red day and a crazily busy one at work.

B -2 x weetabix Hex B and milk Hex A and a banana

Snack - Alpen light Chocolate orange bar 1/2 Hex B

L - Baxters Healthy Soup Hex B (or may count it as syns later)

Well EE day today. Last night had steak and salad with fried onions toms and mushrooms in fry light
Todays plan is
B weetabix x 2 and a banana, hex a and b
L salad, tuna and jacket potato

The big disaster is I am invited to a girls from work tonight for drinks and a take away........ Will have to try......

I always treat myself still with a chinese, chicken in black bean with boiled rice is only either 5 or 5.5syns!

If you decide to have drinks, you could just have a flexi day and not have as many the next couple of days to make up for it?

Hi and thanks for your support. We didnt have loads to drink a couple of roses and a fab glass of red. We had a chinese which i loved. We all had a bit of everything chicken with szewan and beef in black bean. I had it with a little fried rice and a couple of chips. Not great but if i dont live i will give up!:break_diet:

Well just tried to update on my daughters tablet and I couldnt even type!
Last night was a great catch up with a group of girls I worked with last year. The chinese was great. I have written the day off but I have to live I guess.
Today is a shopping day with my daughter and mother, we are starting to look for dresses for her for her first holy communion in May.
So we will be out for luch, not sure what sort of day to have yet, will report back later!

Had a fab day shopping, got an amazing dress for my daughter and treated myself to a handbag, not buying anything else to wear until I loose more weight.
Anyway yesterday's food;
B - Porridge and milk (HEX A & B)

Lunch - now for the interesting bit, went to Frankie and Benny's, they have a lighter options menu, I hadn't noticed it before but its probably because I would normally have a pizza. I ordered a salmon steak with cajun spice ontop with salad, it came with a lemon dressing and it was fab and I really enjoyed it, I reckon it was free apart from the mayo I had with it and I didnt have much I reckon 4 syns. Mind it was still the same price as a pizza!!!
Snack - alpen light (4.5 syns)

Dinner - small portion of rice, BBQ spare ribs and chicken sweet and sour, the dressings and sauces 5 more syns?

Bad bit 3 large glasses of red.......no more syns left but I have to live, we shall see how weigh in goes tomorrow and I might have to re assess my wine, if it was down to food its ok. But I am eating a whole load better that I have.

It was a red day yesterday by the way. Today I might do EE, cooking pork Sunday lunch

Well Sundays are hard.
B - porridge and milk with sweetner (hex a and b )
Fillet of pork with a titchy bit of Apple sauce. 1 auntie bessie stuffing ball (3 syns) cauliflower, carrot and Swede mash, sprouts carrots and peas.
Snack- a alpen light bar and some mango

Well dinner was tandoori chicken. Fantastic, pataks tandoori paste mixed with ff natural yoghurt 2 chicken breasts cooked in the oven with ff yoghurt dressing and salad with loads of red onion, probs 3 syns for the tandoori paste?

Not bad as the rest of the family had a picnic with crisps battered prawns, chicken goujons etc! Control!

Well WI today and I have gained a half pound, however I had a two and a half loss last week which was good and too many odd glasses of wine this weekend. Need to make an effort to properly count everything.

Red day

B - 2 x weetabix milk and sweetner plus a banana (HEX a and b)

S - 2 x alpen bars, Hex b

Lunch - tin of Baxters Scotch Broth need to count as syns not sure how many.

for snacks I have a muller light and strawberries and 2 x ryvitas (2 syns I think) and pineapple cottage cheese. Not decided on dinner yet as I have to shop for it!!:sigh:
