As title says....new here and hopeful for some big changes. Been unhappy for a long time with my weight and its affects on my health and appearance. A gradually worsening bad back has given me the final nudge I needed. I am fast approaching my 40th and I really want to be much healthier by then. I work full time in a job I love but it can be very tough physically and I hate being the only one puffing and sweating .
I have set myself the goal of losing 5 stone and if I could be near this by october for the big 40 I would be delighted.
I have tried all the diets, they all work for me, but unfortunately my willpower doesn't. I am now at my heaviest ever and miserable with it.
I am setting off by calorie counting as I need to retrain myself away from huge portions and excess vino . So alcohol once a week as a treat, and smaller portions of healthier foods from here on in.
Looking forward to "getting to know" you all x
