Did i do it right?

Hi everyone,
i had a try at making the cookies today with a caramel bar. Im glad i only tried 2 little ones first coz they brunt to a crisp...lol.
Second batch were really nice, but i dont know if i cooked them right?
They tasted a little like honeycombe...is that right?
How long after cooking them can you keep them?, wondered if i could cook them before my night shift and have one every hour or so during work?
