Did something bad!

    Hi all, I was really craving today and ate 3grams of carbohydrate in the atkins bars! Had 2! I'm afraid cos it says I'm not allowed them in my Induction weeks, will I put on weight or will it stop me from losing? Please any advice...

    Some of the bars are allowed on induction. Did you check the side of the pack? It'll tell you there which phase they're suitable for. If they say ok for phase one (induction) you'll be fine. The bars i have are the day break ones, strawberry crisp and choc chip. They're both ok on induction and the strawberry ones are 3g each so i wouldn't worry hun.

    Hiya! they actually said suitable for only phase 2, 3 and 4. where do u get yours from?

    Boots have the daybreak cereal bars on offer at the moment, buy one box get one half price.

    Have you considered taking L-glutamine? They are supposed to help with cravings.

    I got mine from tesco's hun. They also have an offer on, think it was about a £1 off a box or something similar.. The choc chip are my fave! Try to limit myself to one a day as a sweet treat. Sometimes have one for breakfast when i'm at work, is just enough to see me through till dinner as don't often have breakfast. Sometimes on my gym days i'll have two though as a little treat and mini carb fix.

    Erm, well i started atkins about 3wks ago at 197.2lbs. I lost the first week the sts as i had a little drinky! Then i did the police training this weekend so had extra carbs and put on a couple lbs, though wasn't at all bothered about that as felt i'd made good choices food wise and completed the training without problem. Started back this week with avengence at 195lbs and had a sneaky peak this morning and i'm down to 192.8lbs so have lost 2.2lbs in two days. Though i try not to weigh each day so i'll see what the results are on monday.

    Don't worry Tanya, we all have the odd wobble here and there. Just pick yourself up and get back on the horse.

    Hopefully you'll find the cravings for sweet things become much rarer after the first few weeks, I very rarely crave sweet stuff any more.

    I'm still craving sweet things! Hmm and feel like an elephant! I'm cutting out cheese, sausages as promised, let's see how this week goes.
