dieting if you are trying to concieve??

thanks ((hugs))

We are TTC for nearly 8 years now and still no luck, been tested and had an op to remove polip on my ovarys but they sais after all should be good.Got given Clomid fertility tablets but that didnt work too.We have calmed down with trying and just do it as we please now lol.BUT im sure we have cracked it this time, ive sore boobs, watery mouth, slight cramping, head aches and dizzy spells for nearly a week and not due on till 1st.I just feel different too.But im not getting my hopes up.Ive done that too many times for the past 8 years.
Im only 28 though and feel i have a few more years till i can strt to panick.Hubby to be is 36 though but hes already had children and been tested and hes fine.
So fingers crossed this time.

Thanks for all the support you guys! Purple hugs you certainly deserve it and glad to hear things are going well Mrs Dywer!
I really hope this month is your month Mrs Funuk1! After 8 years you are great to have such a positive outlook, bloody hell i am 6 months and am getting so annoyed!
What's playing on my mind is my best friend and sister in law is trying also right now. We are very close and best friends so we both just fessed up to each other and now i am terrified of my reaction if she gets pregnant first and the pressure i will then feel - LOL! Am a bag of nerves really!
Anyway i think i am right bang in the middle of my fertile period now, no + on the OPK but usually tomorrow - CD17. OH has been working 14 hour days all week and is working tom & sunday, i reckon we will do the deed on + day and 2 after and hope for the best!!!

I wouldn't have conceived without dieting! :p

Ditto.. 8 years trying.. Cambridge diet for 3 months and I've a proud bump to show for my efforts! :flirt2:

Congrats to all who have managed to conceive. Keep trying for all those, like me, who are still TTC. We have been "at it" for 2 1/2 years and it does get you down. I have just been diagnosed with endometriosis which makes it even more difficult. I agree that dieting gives us all the best chance so that's all I will be concentrating on over the next few months.

I had just completed 10 weeks on camb diet ss when i fell pg within one month of ttc! It is well worth trying if you are having probs ttc.

I am currently losing weight to help us fall pregnant again so was doing Weightwatchers to make sure I was keeping myself healthy while TTC but the weight loss is just so slow that I'm switching to w8, I'm going to keep on TTC while I'm dieting but obviously I would stop the second I found out I was pregnant and would switch to a healthy eating plan during the pregnancy then go back to W8 after the birth :).

I'm on Exante to lose weight before we start trying. I have PCOS and the specialist said I will need help but they want my weight down to a healthier level before trying. At 32 I'm starting to feel the pressure of my age. Having a baby is just the motivation I have needed to get healthy.

Good luck to all those trying!

I think everyone is different, but it sounds like you know what you are doing.
