Day???? (Not sure as don't know what diet I'm on! Oops!)

I think I'll make it day 1 of 28 as my next target is set for 4 weeks time!

I feel great! I mean FANTASTIC in a way I haven't in weeks and I haven't broken the diet! What is going on????!!!!

It must be the endorphins as I finally got off my arse and went out for a run. 5k in the fastest time I've done in years (2 years to be precise!)...av pace 9.47 min miles, down from 11.20 at the beginning of the year, and on a vlcd! Not a vlcd for much longer though...hello simple solution!

Food today

8.30 skinny latte

1pm sweet & sour noodle pack
1/2 toffee nut bar

4pm 1/2 toffee nut bar pre run
5pm skinny latte post run

Next up...

Spicy chicken stirfry

Cals & carbs yet to be calculated

Pleased with today but I'd like to drop the carbs a little...having the packs is so convenient at work but they are high in carbs. And two lattes...too indulgent!

Net cals still around vlcd levels...don't know if this makes any difference!

Day 2/28

Got up and did HIIT video off a popular video channel (!)...it was v tough going considering the last week on a vlcd.

Warm up, 20 x 30s on 30s off inc. squat jumps, lunge jumps, press ups, burpees and high knees, cool down.

Post workout: protein shake with tsp honey (sooo yummy!)

When the HIIT video finished it just ran into another segment, a video about how diets don't work and we have to find our own path. It fitted what I'm feeling at the moment perfectly. I'll summarise the key points on here later but it was fascinating.

So today (Sat)

L - low carb snack pot from Starbucks...contained chorizo, mozzerella & rocket

T - Nandos avocado & green bean salad with butterfly chicken (no skin)

S - quest bar

Cals: 1420
Carbs: 70g

Oops! Bit over on cals but I did exercise so not too worried. I felt quite restrained too, lol!

Tbh I'm better at dieting when at work so I'm quite pleased with these numbers. Thinking I might need to move my diary over to cal counting though. Will see how it goes.ImageUploadedByMiniMins.com1431805778.081744.jpg
 
Lunch: a little disappointing as it wasn't good chorizo.
Stuck with an Americano (after the piggy two lattes yesterday!!!) so pleased about that!
