Do I follow the red syn or the green one?

Hey everyone...I've been looking round the forums for a while now and noticed that most people are saying that if you are given a syn value for something for a red day and a green day only but you are following the extra easy plan you should follow the lower value?

I have also read somewhere that you take the higher value and go with that...anyone know for sure? I wanted to have some pasta n sauces next week so I don't have to cook soooo much and I found the syn values on here for red and green..red was really high like 22 or something and green was 0.5!! I'd love to go with the green syn value but I'm just worried it's not right to do this..

For Extra Easy you take the lower of the syn values.
 
S: 19st5lb C: 15st11lb G: 11st11lb BMI: 33.6 Loss: 3st8lb(18.45%)

Go with the lower - in this case pasta n sauces contain pasta, free on green and EE, so you are only syning what is extra. On red, pasta isn't free so you are having to syn all of it.

This is why you take the lower value if there are different values for red and green.
