Do you have a salad with your lunch?

I've been doing
Shake for breakfast
Shake + salad for lunch (with lettuce/cuc/tomatoes/celery and fat free vinegrette)
snak - fruit or carrot sticks
Dinner - not nec 500 calories, but i try!
Snack at night


does this seem like an unreasonable way to do the slimfast program? i was accused of not doing it right by a friend recently

i've been on it 10 days and i'm down 5 lbs (i know it's mostly water weight, but inspirational none-the-less)

i have to lose over 100lbs here....

so salad at lunch? ok? thanks for any insight!
 
its not to "the plan", but if you are happy, and you are losing weight, in my opinion i can not see that there would be a problem...

i dont stick to "the plan" 100% of the time, but i still have the shakes.

as long as you learn the basics about foods, and know why you ended up getting to the size you have (me for example was a combo of eating when i shouldnt eating the wrong things and snacking of things i shouldnt be) and you learn from those mistakes, i cant see why having a little salad (which is getting in some of your vital vitimins and nutrients that you need) would hurt.

(sorry i ramble!!)
