Just measured the snow outside my house and its 6 inches deep, and still snowing!

Snowing in Reading since around 4.30 p.m. - light but steady. About an inch now and still falling.
I am sure there is much more of it up in the hills!

Just looked out & all ours has gone - yeah! However, it's wet & forecast for minus temp so probably going to be a bit hairy underfoot tomoz

We had what I called crushed ice raining down on us from about 12pm til about 5.
Then looked out about 8ish, and about 3 inches. None since though! Kinda not keen on it, but it's feb, and we're in UK, what d'ya expect??
Hope it rains and gets rid soon.. I'm in east lancashire- what the forecasters call "the Pennines"

6 inches. Basildon Essex. time to dig out the sledge, snow grips and panic about hubby being on nights from monday to wednesday.

Slowly thawing now - the side roads are very slushy which will mean that they will freeze into nasty hard ridges tonight! So pleased that I don't have to go anywhere!

Can hear it melting outside now. Won't be gone by tomorrow though, slow thaw and freeze jobby! - joy! :/
