do you need 4 shakes a day now??????

    hi all

    Done ss last year, last summer for 1 month lost 18 llbs

    doing it again, have moved areas,contacted nearest cdc and she advised now 4 packs needed a day.

    eeeeek struggled with 3 last year and all my water

    how do you guys get on with 4 a day?

    and do i really need 4?


    and eeek eeek eeek its now £47 a week

    I *think* you only have 4 if your over a certain height (5'8") :)

    There's a sticky at the top. I think it is four packs and some milk or three packs and a green and white meal.

    The new Sole Source Plus programme recommends EITHER 4 packs per day plus 200 mls of skimmed milk OR 3 packs per day plus a 200 cal meal (similar to an add-a-meal on a daily basis).

    You can opt to do the 'old' Sole Source programme of just 3 packs per day if you wish, but as it's under 600 calories per day your counsellor needs to inform your GP that you're doing that so that he/she can monitor you if they feel it's necessary to do so.

    I manage to use 4 packs cos I use 1 pack to make my coffee's during the day. Then I have the 3 packs to drink, though at the moment, I'm making ice lollies out of the shakes, it's something a bit different. I'm experimenting with which shakes taste best as lollies, but so far the banana one is winning.
