DOING SW FROM HOME???

I am still loving my oat bran porridge with a banana for breakfast, or 2 slices of small wholemeal toast with no spread and a sliced banana on top - they tend to be my breakfasts. The toast with poached or 'fried' runny eggs is quite good too, as you can get away without spread… dunno if that helps!x

We've had some impressive losses this week! Well done icurez, how far from target are you?

Starting to feel really achy and fluey, hoping it's just from no sleep last night. Don't get sick pay at work and still in probationary period so don't want to be ill. Hubby and kids have all been sick this week tho :-( just have to muster thru 9.5hr shift tomorrow, that's if I can get thru the snow to work!

Hubby buying tea tonight so no idea how sw friendly it'll be!

Yes, have to take those too. Hoping i can hobble about a bit better tomorrow as i have a funeral, friend of my partners, killed in a car crash :-(

I think it's brilliant when hubbys benefit from our diets too, tho some don't need to loose weight. My son for example, he's 23, eats like a horse, pizza's, fast food everything and is thin as a whippet!

My oh is one of those people that eats whatever he likes and doesn't put an ounce on. Infact he's lost since me being on sw, doesn't need to at all tho! Is sooooo annoying!!

Sorry to hear about your friend, that's so awful. My dad was killed in a car crash when I was 16, is blimin horrible. Life is so cruel at times. I hope tomorrow goes as well as it can and you're able to hobble around! x

My hubby hit his all time heaviest just after Christmas and although he has half heartedly dieted with me before but this time he seems much more focused. He was even good on Tuesday when celebrating his new job offer. Only went 2 over his syns for the day and that was on alcohol. He bought me a lovely pair of boots yesterday to say thank you for all my cooking efforts and keeping him on track. Bless him

That is lovely! What a thoughtful hubby :)

My family have sprung a last minute meal out on me this evening! I would normally jump at the chance to spend time with my parents and brother but instead I feel a bit anxious :-/
What would you all pic from this menu? http://www.vintageinn.co.uk/theoakenarmsoaken/pdf/theoakenarmsoaken-food_menu.pdf
Sorry if you're not supposed to post links, I'm still new!

Was thinking maybe gammon with jacket instead of chips? Or steak but I don't want to be annoying by asking for it without chips, onion rings or any of the other super high syn stuff!!

MY oh could do with losing a bit at the mo, he's mainly put on due to sitting behind a desk and literally not having any time to exercise because of the job demands and a mega 4 hr commute twice a week! He lost loads when he was in afghan 18 mths ago, but slowly its gone back on cos of the desk job! He loves SW food when I cook, but when I started back on plan on the 2nd I got him doing it too - he was doing really well asking what he could and couldnt have, but on about day 4 I cooked spag bol (on green)- when he measured the meat part he thought it was ridiculous and decided enough was enough! LOL… the good thing is it has spurred him to get back to the gym in the evenings where he works, if he can keep that up it won't take him long on his usual eating!x

Gosh that's a tricky one, the braised belly of pork sounds ok without the fritter maybe and no butter on the potatoes?

Hmm…! I might go for the burger (either ask for no bun, or don't eat it) as its homemade so shouldn't have oily additions… then maybe have it with jacket instead of chips with dressings on the side??? But thats just me… so tricky!x

Or the ribeye with no chips but extra veg and HEX/syn the oil….?

PS - what day are you on?

Mmm homemade chilli for tea! Used extra lean mince instead of my usual Quorn by sti nice! And grates cheese on the top as my HexA! Delish! X

I have had 3 bgty sausages, mushrooms, eggs, bacon and tomatoes yummy

My SW arrived through post today so going to sit & have a nosey at that.

I had tuna pasta (salad cream/red onion), was delish, then a muller. Not sure what snacking is going to be as I am still craving sweet stuff :-(

Do you mean what day into the diet or what day in the week after WI? I started doing SW on 8th Jan so 9 days into the diet and i'm on day 4 in my week as i weigh myself on a Monday.

I just made a big pan of potatoes, cabbage, leeks, butter beans and grated carrot in veg stock. There's enough for tomorrow too so i can just warm it up after the funeral.

Interestingly gone for red today, usually find green easier… BUT I feel much less bloated, and like I have not been stuffing myself as much. I definitely think I need to alternate a bit more.

Had home cooked cold gammon ham (bgty) for lunch with a heap of salad, syn free chutney and cottage cheese, and for tea I am having a red 'fry' up - using new pots with skins on for chips, and having loads of trimmed bacon and LM sausages, mushrooms, eggs and tomatoes

I even have an 'a' left for later if I need it! I have made a bottle of wine last since sunday, and today I have 8 syns left too… I am feeling very pleased with myself!
