Laura can u tell me the SYNS in the sainsburys be good to yourself frozen burgers please :) I'm sure I read somewhere they were low so picked some up when I was there, thank uuuu! Xx

They're 1 syn on EE and Red and 9 on green :) Quite good really, for burgers!

They're Tesco Potato Cakes, 6 in a pack and the pack is clear with a green logo/writing :)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I'm doing it at home and have just done my first weigh in and ive lost 8lbs! I honestly cannot believe it! I burst out crying!! heehee! It really does work doesnt it!!! Im so so happy!! Yessssssss! I can do this :) xxx

Aww thanks so much sweetie! Im so massively ridiculously happy with that loss! I was hoping for about 3 or 4 so 8lbs is crazy!! Yay!!
Erm, no i havent done a food diary, but im thinking that i might start!!he only thing is, im a fairly picky eater and my meals tend to be fairly plain and timid!! Heehee! So not sure how many peeps would be interested in what i eat! but i might just start a diet diary anyway :)
What plan are you following? Im doing the green as im obsessed with potatoes, pasta and rice :) xxx

Cookies what a fab weight loss...

Jen I did mince last night with curry spices and golden veg rice, nice quick and easy and something different to do with mince..

I'll have to look at those potato cakes and burgers they sound great and low syns

Freezing today and can't get warm, stood at the bus stop for ages first things and still haven't thawed out... Hungry too, had a prawn sandwich and then simmered some mushrooms in tinned tomatoes with garlic paprika and fresh basil because I was still starving and needed something warm going to make steak stew tonight mini dumplings with it that come to 4syns..


Post op appointment today everything is healing and I've had permission to drive the vacuum cleaner again yay lol can't wait to get them house back to a clean state and to be able to start some exercise again.... something light to start, long walks, and some wii fit I think should be okay, just need some physio for my internal muscles now

Oh well out into the cold now to collect DD from dance club brrrr
 
Yea, gonna do a curry mince thing I think. Will make it up as I go along!

I haven't run or swam this week at all, still shattered from my night shifts and it's freeeeeeeezing out! Excuses I know but good ones I think. I know I won't have lost this week as my body needs exercise. I want some warmer weather, well just above 2degrees would be nice!

What have we all got for tea? Reading the sw mag, some fab recipes in here :)

Hey everyone,

Well I had a brill loss of 4 1/4 lbs on my first week of doing SW from home (my scales are that precise!) last weds but this week only lost 1lb. Trying not to be too disheartened as I had small loses last time I did SW-slow and steady!

Last night I made the Cod with cherry tomato sauce and sautéed spuds from the mag, it was nice but I only used a tiny bit of the chilli in the sauce and it was still overpowering the fish.

Well done Summer! That's still a big grand total of over 5lbs, so don't get disappointed at the smaller losses! It all adds up and now it's just under 2lbs to your first half stone loss!!


Had a jacket potato with some leftover veggie chilli and a HexA of cheese for lunch :) Loving having the time to do my jacket spuds in the oven for an hour or so so they go lovely! For dinner, not sure... Get back from WI late, about 9ish, so not sure if I'll have the willpower to cook something or not! If I do, then I think I'll do pasta with... something?! Not sure what...

I'm having Moroccan tagine with rice and a little Hexb Gammon! The tagine has chickpeas and courgettes in, and even better that I found a portion I made earlier in the freezer! Super quick tea!x
 
I'm gonna try one of these mozarella burgers everyone is going on about with SW chips and beans :)

What's a syns calculator and where can i get one!!!
 
Haha, it's a feature on the Slimming World website for paying members :) It allows you to enter nutritional info and it tells you the syns in the packet or portion, so useful! Let me know if you have anything you need working out :) x
 
What fab loses you have had x Well I was going to have a quick dinner of pasta and pesto (3 syns for a level tbsp) but my son dropped his so I ended up with meat free burgers (.5 each) and baked beans - not the most inspiring meal :cry:
