Tonights dinner - the chicken curry from this months mag- amazing! Really yum the only thing is say is the recipe says 800ml of stock, which us way too much- 500-600 ml would be plenty.
Had with boiled rice, a couple of Aldi poppadoms and some homemade yogurt and mine sauce
Well done GrannyA x

I made goulash and had a jacket potato as my hexB. Was soooo good!
Looks yummy!
I make a Thai green curry from an old SW mag that says 600ml stock but that's far too much. I only put in 300 and double the coconut milk. Bumps up the syns slightly but it's much creamier and less watery that way
Twas yum! Hmm, I think I would def reduce the stock lots next time then. I love thai curry, would love the recipe if you ha a mo Im enjoing using my syns in cooking actually, can be so worth it! X
Goulash looks lush too!
Ruth, you get better quality and loads more for the money you pay. Bigger packs workout cheaper.I've been wanting to visit an Asian supermarket for a while now. I use lots of herbs and spices and chillies etc in my cooking and normal supermarkets charge too much for such small quantities I think. Do you find you get better value for that kind of thing there Charl?
Make it a treat once in a while. I had ciabatta as my burger bun tonight - I tweak my HEXs so it was HEXB+2 syns for 62 grhave ended the day with a freddo - i like to have a bit of chocolate every day then it doesn't seem like I'm missing out on anything although really missing tiger bread!!
Yes course, I'll post it in the morning for you as come to bed early again and left grumpy down stairs lol
