DOING SW FROM HOME???

Thank you, I didn't no 1lb was a bag of sugar that great then, I just can't belive I let myself get this big I supose I'm stil hoping for miracals and it to just drop off lol. I feel diffrent but just dipointed compared to people I no lighter than me! One end lost 10lb in her first week and I'm a good 3stone heavyr than her!! Don't get it but I'm just gona up my game this week, lots of exercise! X

The most iv ever lost in a week is 4lb, mostly lose between 1 and 2lbs a week, weight comes off me soooo slowly but its better than putting it on and if you look at it in the long run a loss of 1lb a week for a year is over 3 stone!

Morning all, just woke up, night shift last night. Nights are soooo hard to stay on plan with. Snacks weren't too bad overnight but I wake feeling really sick so just had toast and marmite again :-(

Welcome newbies, this thread is fab! We're a lovely bunch :-(

Icurez, keep with it, don't surrender just yet! x

I've joined SW online

For some reason I expected some kind of "one to one" conversation/support with someone so I could be motivated every day. Joining online, you get just the same as if you'd joined a group, only with the group you obviously attend and sit through the talk.

I wish I didn't keep putting the weight back on each time:mad: It's only about 14-18 pounds, but I lose it, then it goes back on. And I find it rarely works (a psychological thing I reckon) if I have lost a lot of weight at a class (and I've done Rosemary Conley, WW and SW) I feel I cannot return to the same class if I put the weight back on, I have to go somewhere new.

This is why I'm now trying online as I've exhausted most of the classes in my area:rolleyes:

I've arrived at these forums to get the motivation that I'm not getting on the website.

Planning red days for the rest of the week and im really stuck for lunch ideas. Got my teas sorted but Im at uni during the day and really stuck as to what I can take in a pack up for lunch :/ helpppppp!

Do you have access to a microwave or have you got a thermus flask cos sf veg soups are great. Salad with lean meats (gammon/chicken), boiled eggs, make a fritatta and have cold, cook some ww sausages, have with a hexb roll and hexa cheese :)

No uni dont let us use microwaves etc (dont know why we arent at school!) and i dont have a flask :( iv got a recipe for a chicken stir fry salad which i may cook tonight and have cold tomorrow, i need to eat less carbs im feeling so bloated all the time

Invest in a flask then! But lean cuts of meat are good with a massive salad, you can use your hexb for bread or a roll which will fill you up. I always take carrot sticks to munch on, and then fruit, banana, melon, apple, alpen light bars. Lunches are tricky but can be done x

My red days worked today and yesterday and I'm super lucky to get away with Sts! Gotta up my game this week!

Just had a lovely tea, huge salad, gammon that I cooked yesterday, boiled egg and pickle for 1 syn. Been struggling with sugar cravings as so tired from night shift but having a really yummy healthy dinner has really helped. Will just have melon for pudding now :)

Jenny, what job do you do?

Currently sitting munching through some pasta with mountains of sf. Got a new dress today for a wedding which needs a little bit of weight loss to look perfect! Made a nice salad for lunch tomorrow. Trying for as much salad/veg as possible

Am a nurse :)

My hair seems really healthy and shiny recently, must be all the veg and fruit I now eat!

Hey guys, hope you've all had a brilliant day! I'm knackered and its only Monday - oh dear!! Will be glad when Wednesday is over and I've got 5 days off with my kids - woohoo!!!!

Can I just ask - are most people following the EE plan or are there some people who just do green/original? Is weightloss affected by this?

Xx

Welcome to all the newbies as well!! Xxxx

I follow Ee most of the time as suits my life style best - I use SW principles and eat what I want then writing my diary I convert into SW so others can use my recipes if they wish to.

I do EE mostly but some days when I fancy more bread I'll do a red or green. Don't usually plan it in advance I just 'swap' plan during the day. Can't say if it makes a difference though as its only the odd day here and there. I think most consultants push EE, not sure why but my suspicious mind thinks maybe you generally loose slower so it takes longer to get to target therefore we give SW more of our money lol x

For those of you who have a sweet tooth an dlike a dessert. Try this recipe

1 pot muller light
1 egg

Mix and beat until smooth, put in a small oven proof dish (large ramakin) and bake on 200 for 20 minutes. Let it cool a bit or completely cold. Eat with berries and a dullop of 0% total. All syn free.

Ruth, my theory is that the plan is for life so if you are eating a combination of meat & veg on EE then you are getting a balanced diet and you are eating normally so can serve the same food for the rest of the family. Also you stick to it for longer as it feels you are not depriving yourself.

I do mainly red as it def feels better for me, I get too bloated on EE, if I'm pmt-ing I find green better for the comfort/stodge factor and usually do EE at weekends as its a bit more free (if I even stick to plan at weekends!) once I hit target I'm just going to do EE tho x

That sounds much more sensible Rosie and I'm sure that's right, I follow EE for those exact reasons myself but just wonder why when I've been to group there was little mention of the other plans and even when some members asked specific questions they were 'encouraged' to try EE?
The bottom line is all the plans work and we are all proof of that :)
