Looked it up in the book. If I've rear it right, pasta sauces are 3.5 syns per 100g on all plans

Yes jodieboo, mine is driving me insane!!!!! Hopefully it gets better soon.

Thanks grannieanne! I was unsure wether the 20kcal = 1 syn still applied to those type of things!

Ooooooh, my pulled pork is fab this time. Just waiting for my baked potato to cook! Yum yum.

What is everyone having for tea? Any nice Friday treats?!

Um yeah... But so naughty! Won't repeat on here, but it was bad (and oh so good!) ;D x

Thai yellow curry for us, so super yum! X

Hello everyone

I am thinking about doing SW from home and maybe signing up to the online thingy. I dont really understand food optimising or what Green days are ... or anything about SW, so do you recommend using the site for the first few months and then maybe once I have understood it making a decision. I just think its quite expensive, but if people think the resources are good then I will invest the money

Thanks

I think it would be worth looking around on here to see how much information there is to help you. This link is really useful: http://www.minimins.com/slimming-wo...d-advice-new-comers-including-extra-easy.html , After that if you feel you need the books for syns and healthy extras information, if you don't have a friend who can gift you one, it might be worth joining a club for a week just to get the books to really understand the programme. I think that might be cheaper than joining online. I believe the online tools are useful, but you can find most of the info you need in here if you ask :)

Hi and welcome!

SW online will give you the full explanation. Briefly, the green plan is the veggie option although you can gave meat as a healthy extra. It's carb based. The red plan is the opposite, protein based but you can have carbs as a healthy extra. Extra easy ( the one SW push the most) is mid way between red and green.

On all plans there's measured amounts of dairy and fibre. Hope that helps a bit!

Hellooo! I agree with what the other girlies have said, browse the forum first :)

Minimins is a life saver for me as I cannot afford to go to classes OR sign up online, but these lovely lot keep me up to date and help me on whatever I need :)

They really are a lovely bunch here!

Thanks so much ladies, well I have joined the online group - I figured that I could do it for 3 months and then drop out if I didn't find it useful. I'm pretty glad I did as I have a better understanding now and lists of foods. I will be really interested to see how I do on this as I have never done a proper healthy eating type of diet before.

I feel welcomed already - so thanks for the friendly messages x
