Just had a bowl of homemade leek and potato soup for lunch ... Followed by a cheeky Rice Krispie cake from my big girls bday yesterday - I added whole malteasers when I was mixing and they were lush! Recon about 5 a piece but worth it!

Have made up a mini exercise plan. Small daily exercise, crunches, squats or star jumps and increase each day. Just done 100 star jumps watching the rain lashing down!

I normally run lots. I started last year and did a 5 and 10k, want to do a half marathon in september. Just not getting the chance to get out right now so instead of doing nothing, doing small exercises every day. Am noticing my nice toned bits getting a bit wobbly so need to sort it out lol xx

I am so jealous of you all talking about exercise!
I used to kick box and do cardio sessions 3/4 times a week - never been so fit..! But since having back trouble for a while (2 yrs in fact) which has had me in so much pain.. have had to stop the gym, quit a little part time interim job, and the more exercise I did the worse it got.. Well after a long wait for investigation, X-ray scans etc the MRI showed up a fractured vertebrae in my lumbar region which basically I was unaware of (poss a stress fracture ) and for some reason has not healed. I found out on Friday and now waiting for a CT for further investigation. Not sure what can be done... And all a little scary, but actually a relief that there is something visible to be causing me this much pain!
Partly why I had to start SW again as not being able to exercise I am rather prone to gaining weight!

So jealous, but GO you all with your exercise.. I may be able to start again one day! LolX

Thanks Jen :) its such a relief to finally have answers!
Have swum but any exercise seems to increase the pain so just taking it steady for now. I get a lot of pain in my buttock and in my rec fem so apart from keeping walking I keep it all to a minimum. I'm pretty active all day so keeping everything moving, just resigned to a rather more wobbly bottom than I did have!! Lol x

Hi ladies, I did sw up until Xmas and had lost three stone. Now half a stone heavier in just 5 months I'm determined to get back to where I was.

I cannot seem to find a group near me though and don't have internet (yet) so relying on my old diary and mags to get me going. Day 1 and I'm 5syns in.... Can anyone tell me how many syns in custard creams please?????

Cheeky oldie/newbie asking questions already ;-)

3 syns in a custard cream. Good for you for gettin started again. I have tried unislim, rosemary Conley, weight watchers etc etc and am def enjoying sw the best. It's seems to be the most realistic one for sticking to as a permanent lifestyle change as very little counting in it and loads to eat :)

Thanks jamcar :) hot a biscuit barrel full of them, only ones my littlun doesn't eat so I'll two as a treat with my cuppa once she goes to bed. Yay!

I've done Cambridge and ww but agree with you sw is by far the easiest to follow and definitely filling! Eating out isn't too much of a problem on it either.
I do find working out syns a bit of a pain if you don't stick to recipes. Guess I've just got to get back into it again :)

I am only doin it 8 weeks and struggled at the start to use any syns as all my meals were free and super free foods. Last week I made a point of having a minimum of 5 syns a day and it really helped my weight loss with 4lbs off. Doin the same again this week and walking about 6 or 8 miles everyday in 2 sessions to keep my metabolism up and tone up the legs lol. Need to start doin some sit ups too:cool:

You need immense willpower to have just 2 choccies!

Official wi is the same as yesterday so happy with that.

This weather is sucky, really thought we finally had the sun!

Normal cheap weekend ahead, planned some nice sw food :-D

I have NO summer clothes! I gave all my clothes away, anything above a size 12 went!!! Big shopping spree in a couple of weeks lol xx
