Yeah it's free! I used the cheese n broccoli flavour with added cooked mushrooms. U just make the pasta n sauce up as directed but I just used water and milk (part of Hex A) then whisk 3 eggs in and cook on 200deg for 20 mins or until brown. U can use any of the pasta n sauces and use other things like peppers, courgette, bacon, tomatoes, etc x

Keep meaning to make that quiche Tilly... I've never tried scouse heard of it obviously, do you have a link to a recipe for it, will make a change form the usual stew..

Hey Li! No haven't got a link but the gist of it is loads of potatoes, carrots and you can also use leeks and celery then gravy and then beetroot on the top! Sounds plain but we love it! Haha x

hi everyone just joined this fab forum. did sw last year but never felt motivated at club so going it alone now. started yesterday. want to lose 2.5 stone. going to italy in august so hope to have made a big dent in my weight by then. this forum is great so glad i found it :)

Day 3 of 100% done lol :)

Welcome all the lovely new peeps. This thread is fantastic and the main reason I stayed motivated to reach my goal! xx

Loving the bargain Li!

I'm bubbling up a 'Hoppin John' out of a recent SW mag - it's a rice thing- though I've used a variation on beans that I had in the cupboard.. Smells nice anyway!

Welcome new people
:)

And sorry for my weird duplications earlier - not sure what happened!!

Does anyone know if you can have halloumi as a hexB??
Thx

Ooh, just googled my question and Charl asked the same back last year!

It's 35g normal halloumi or 45g reduced fat halloumi but it's only a B choice so only available on Green.

Perfect! Halloumi with our Hopping John!!

I know!!
It's a bit of a risotto with spicy ness! Still waiting as I used brown rice:)

It sounds lovely but just be careful as not all brands of pasta n sauce r free and not all flavours. Campbell's ones are about 5 syns, some of bachelors are only 1 or 1.5syns and some of the own brand ones have syns too.

I tried a gorgeous chicken dish tonight and so so simple. Mix fat free yoghurt with dried Parmesan (measure and count appropriate syns), garlic powder, salt and pepper, cover a chicken fillet and cook in oven. I used 1 level tbsp of Parmesan so it was 1.5syns. I had it with salad, cauli and broc and crispy potatoes with red onion done in actifry. Plate was piled high for 1.5syns and so tasty, yum!

That sounds yum Jamcar:)

Well Hoppin John was super yum- worth the wait, and in hindsight Jen, on a green day I should have used white rice! Doh!

It was onion, peppers, tinned black eye beans, rice, stock, and red wine vinegar and pepper sauce :) delish!
