DOING SW FROM HOME???

I have decided that I am going to follow Red day's going forward for the immediate future. I was thinking last night and i am not 100% confident that I am eating enough super free foods. I was feeling sure I was but TBH I think I am relying on fruit during the day to build it up.

I followed Red/Green a good few years ago so i know it works for me, I just need to remind myself what is "not allowed" on Red/Green days again and get my head back round that.

Haha weigh in at my moms and I can guarantee you all a two stones loss ... two stone difference between her kitchen and lounge ...
 
Hey Li! No haven't got a link but the gist of it is loads of potatoes, carrots and you can also use leeks and celery then gravy and then beetroot on the top! Sounds plain but we love it! Haha x

No meat ? Beetroot the mind boggles haha... going to make some one night I think and not tell hubs it's got beetroot on top lol... sounds lovely..

off to try the quiche thing now seeing as I actually remembered to but the pasta n sauce... still can't get my head around the fact you can eat stuff like that on a diet... ;)
 
Hi, you can get an actifry for about £120. That is 1kg capacity and big enough for me, hubby and 2 kids. I use it all the time, it is so much cheaper than turning the own on for some things eg garlic bread, part baked breads, baked potatoes, chicken fillets, chicken drumsticks etc, it just really depends what your whole meal is if you know what I mean, if I am doing BBQ chicken, sw wedges and salad then I use oven for chicken and actifry for wedges. My sits out on work top and never gets put away, really easy to clean and no smell of deep fat fryer, I absolutely love it. Even if you only ever use it for chips, roasties, wedges etc, it is still cheaper in the long run than changing your oil or lard in a deep fat fryer all the time and you are using fresh oil each time and so much healthier for sw. Have I convinced you lol? X

My folks are away for 10 days from Sat so I'm planning on experimenting loads with my meals! I'm going away Fri-Mon to a lodge in Talacre Beach so might not be that good Fri-Sun but will be extra good after then x
 
Don't do it! You'll only regret it afterwards. Think how brilliant you'll feel when you've slimmed down and feel fantastic in your new wardrobe. x
 
Go find something to do, go for a walk, do some housework, go for a bath, paint your toes, have a pint of water, just anything, if you have a binge it will only annoy you in the long run and only give you a few minutes short lived satisfaction. Failing wanting to do any of these do what I do and just go to bed for the night, lol good luck xx
 
Hi everyone, struggling a bit today, actually bored of food just feel the need to eat huge amounts of junk but trying really hard not too!!

Try Jens trick of making foods that don't seem like sw- like burger, wholemeal roll pizzas etc:) stay strong :)
 
Well peeps, in other news I finally have an update on the back situ.. Been waiting for a follow up appt with specialist following the CT on my lumbar spine.. Last time I saw the consultant he told me the MRI showed a fractured vertebra! So today I get a letter from him saying since the CT he's referring me to a spinal surgeon.. Shocked is an understatement! So feeling a bit apprehensive about it all balanced with being pleased something is finally being done.. Just bizarre!
 
Hopefully they'll finally be able to start deciding how they will treat it for you hun xxx


Well WI tonight and disappointed with only 1/2lb loss, yeah I know it's a loss but I was on plan all week and well within my weekly syns, only thing I can think of is because of using up left overs I made for the baby shower, I've eaten more pasta and rice in a few days than I would in a month, even though they are all free it;s the only thing I can think of... We'll see anyway... group challenge this week is to change your usual plan 3 times this week, so although they've promoted EE it's a nice change up, two reds and a green I think this week as well as EE... looking forward to lamb style quorn tagine now this week now on green.. might do a veg chinese fried rice too

Tilly my packet of pasta is still on the side I'll have to try and cook it in the morning now, wanted to do it tonight as I'm out and about all day tomorrow so wanted to stick some in my bag with a box of salad so I can eat on the go... go some leftover mushy pea and bacon soup which I made today which was really nice
