Donating blood

Hi all,

I've got an appointment to give blood that was arranged the last time I dontated. However, since then I've started Cambridge, am doing the 810 plan. Is is safe to give blood or should I only give blood once I'm on a certain plan. I don't want to put myself or the receipient ill if I donate.

I've searched around for the answer and can't find anything. I've emailed my CDC and not heard back yet but thought I'd ask it on here in case anyone else was wondering.

To be honest, I think KD will know the answer, she knows everything about Cambridge! x

im not sure but i think you would have to be on 1200 plan at least

You need to be on 1000 for the week before and the week after donating blood

Aye, was looking forward to it as I had to stop donating for a while due to medication I was taking. I'll have to find another way to help the world!
