Dont like Propoints, going back to Discover

Well as the title suggests, I don't like Propoints and I'm going back to discover!!

I average out about 2lbs weight loss per week but last week lost 0.5 and this week lost 1.5 on propoints. I am happy loosing anything of course but it has got a bit slower PLUS I find discover much easier.

So, I decided tonight I'm gonna start back on Discover as of tomorrow but I'm still gonna go to classes to get weighed at least until xmas to keep me on track. I didnt say anything to my leader this week cos i know she would try to talk me out of it however if i lost more next week and she asks why then I will tell her im back to the old plan.

Has anyone else stayed on discover but still went to classes?

Welcome back!! I just don't think I would be able to get my head round pro points to be honest. Discover is just like second nature to me and I know it works from before so I just think it would be silly for me to do pro points.

I don't see any reason why you couldn't do discover and still get weighed at all. Good luck this week with discover!! :)

Laura, when they 'outlawed' Core, i still did it and went to classes - end of day, do what suits you - the leader knows how to do Discover so if you're paying, she should personalise the class for you x

My leader tried to convince me to try PP via email. I considered it but have decided that DP is the way to go for me. Would rather stick to what i know and suceed.

I haven't tried propoints because my weight is coming down using the discovery plan and I know what I'm doing with it.... Do feel like a rebel at class tho....I'm still having better losses than the ones trying propoints, don't think the leader is very happy really.

am the same i dont like the pro points, this is my 3rd week on it and i still dont feel like i have settled into it, so i am goin back on discovery friday (weight day thurs nite) my weight was comin off good with discovery so hopefully will continue too

I don't blame you Nicola...the others who have tried pro points can see i'm losing more than them and they're all unhappy with the new system.....our usual leader was away this week and her poor cover leader had an angry mob throwing questions at her, not many that she could give real answers to tho i must say. I feel like going in next week with a BRING BACK DISCOVERY banner....pmsl:argh:

I havent even tried pro points, I just cant be bothered to get my head around it yet.

My mum joined WW the first week pro proints come out though and she lost 8.5lbs in her first week! so it must work. Her start weight was only 10st 6lbs as well..

I think i may give PP a go next year

I looked at the PP way and decided not to bother its hard enough to lose weight without needing a degree to work everything out:rolleyes: so i have stuck to the discovery plan which i find straight forward also i have all the calculator/info i need so why spend £30+ to get PP kit,

As my other long winded post said, I'm back now too

Me and my hubby are both back, I can lose on both plans (its seems) but my hubby can't so its a no brainer really

I find I'm less likely to go off track on DP and find I'm eating better, and my hubby won't be eating as much and will be happier losing..

Some other people doing PP have said if it still doesn't work for them, then they may change back to DP in the new year, but I say why wait till then?

Leaders can say what they like, but at the end of the day its up to us as individuals what plan we do, and plus if people do the old plan and still go to meetings they really can't say much as there still getting the money from us..

If my hubby loses weight cause we went back to DP and I still lose but not as much, then thats fine by me..

hbb is right, if it's not broke don't fix it. I kinda wish I had never decided to give PP a go now as DP worked fine... Grrr!!
