Going back a bit, try reading The Exorcist, at night in an empty building on your own! That was an interesting weekend! With not much sleep! (I hadn't seen the film at that point).

I still think one of the best horror film of recent times is the original Japanese version of The Grudge! That still gives me the shivers.

Is the exorcist book good? I saw the film when I was about 11, before we put it on i was thinking I was going to faint or vomit from the fear after hearing all these stories about it, but I ended up finding it really funny! If the book is scary I wanna read it
