i drink tea with semi skimmed milk and one sugar, what would the calories in them be,i tend to have about 3/4 a day..
i am trying to stay away from things like lucozade and coke..
can my tea be my snack?
thanks.

I don't know about the calories in tea but have you tried using sweetner instead of sugar and skimmed milk? It'll help reduce the calories.

Sugar: One level teaspoon,4g has 15 calories.
One round teaspoon,5g has 20 calories.
One heaped teaspoon,6g has 25 calories.

50ml of Tesco Semi-Skimmed milk 24 calories. which is quite a milky tea in my opinion. So no more than 50 calories a brew ;)

I have a couple cups of tea a day, although with skimmed milk and don't have sugar (been having it like this for years and years so din't have to make a sacrifice lol). I never count my tea but usually only have 2/3 mugs, and tend to have a cup of green tea in the eves which is calories free lol! I don't think there's any harm in having a couple cuppas a day, as long as you weren't drinking it all day long, tea has a lot of health benefits anyway and counts towards your fluid intake (although I never count them towards that either lol).
