What's the southern fried chicken you get, is it ready made or a recipe?
I'm thinking a potential KFC replacement here... !

Icelands own - 4 in a box for £1! I have one but my son and husband have 2 - still works out as a cheap meal though! They also do a 'hot' 'n spicy' one which is also nice. We sometimes have them cut up into strips in a wrap with some salad too. Well worth a try! I wouldn't say they compare with KFC but they are nice.

Total points = 20

Total steps = Failed miserably to reach anything like my 10,000 goal. Was stuck at my desk all day and then too tired to go walking when I got home. :sigh:

Friday 12th March - Monday 15th March

OK, no excuses but..... went to stay with friends (who we haven't seem for a very long time) although I didn't eat loads, it was all the wrong things so decided rather than stress about points, to have a weekend off. Then my son took me out for mothers day (damage limitation, :) I drove so that I could only drink diet coke). I was going to start again Monday but for one reason or another I lost track of my points and couldn't remember everything I had eaten etc. etc. so I am back and more determined today as my clothes already feel tighter and I must hit my March target to lose 4lb (+ whatever I have gained over the weekend!)
 
Tuesday 16th March

Sometimes your bagels are 2.5 and sometime they are 3. How do I know which one mine is?? thx x

I don't always buy the same brand! I have to work it out each time I buy any because I can never remember how many points in each different brand. Which ones are you buying?

It is co-ops own freshly bakes raison and cinnemon. Have counted it as three as it is big'ish. Hopefully that should cover it?? x

The average bagel, approx the size of a CD is 3 points so I would say you are fine counting the ones you buy as 3 points. You are dropping lbs so you couldn't be underestimating too much!

Thanks for dropping by Jen. I certainly haven't stuck to it the past couple of days! Was my sons birthday and we went to a newish Indian restaurant where they did loads of different curries that you don't usually get so I deviated from my usual 'safe' chicken tikka and then went on to have some naan bread too. To make matters worse, I took my son out to lunch today as we were both off work and I succumbed to a burger and chips. I must really try and get back on track tomorrow. I think I am going through that phase where I could quite easily just give up - I really hope I can motivate myself tomorrow. :(
