I am a convert to Weight Watchers after trying unsuccessfully to follow the Slimming World plan. (No criticism of SW, it just didn't work for me, I was just eating far too much!). Having lost 3 stone after the birth of my son some 19 years ago, and keeping it off for several years, I know I can shift this 2 stone if I commit to Weight Watchers.

So, here goes for day one:

20 point allowed:

Breakfast:
Porridge = 1.5
1 tsp sugar = 0.5
Semi skimmed milk = 1

Snack
Packet of Quavers = 1

Lunch:
W/W soup = 2
Ryvita x 4 = 2
Low fat cheese triangles x 2 = 1
Activia strawberry yoghurt = 1.5

Snack:
Apple = 0.5

Dinner:
W/W meal = 4.5
Sweetcorn = 1
Jacket potato = 2.5

Drinks, diet coke, black decaf coffee throughout the day.

Total point for the day = 19
Exercise = 15 mins on rebounder

Day one seems to have gone OK, here's to tomorrow!

Welcome to WW! I also changed over from SW, after a few weeks calorie counting in between :)
3rd week on WW, and Im still not hungry so something must be going right!
Keep at it :D

Chinese takeaway - Singapore Chow Main = 7.5
6 prawn crackers = 3.5?

Good luck with this Elkay! I am also starting WW properly and you have my sympathies, god knows how you manage on 20 pts per day! I am on 34 and sometimes struggle!

Also, I think you are being a bit hard on yourself with 6 prawn crackers making 3.5 points. I believe a whole bag is 'only' 5!

Tuesday 15th December

Well, I have been very bad today! It was our Christmas lunch at work and as I completely lost track of what I ate, I can't count my points today! I know I must have gone over my points but hey, it's Christmas! I'm not attending a class and, as my weight loss is always really slow, I am not weighing myself every week as I get very demotivated when I either lose only a pound or STS. Hopefully, I will be able to pull back the points over the next week to make up for today!

I think having a day off, or a relaxed day is fine :D Infact, I think its definitely healthy, at this time of the year too :D
[I'm justifying it to myself as well as you, hahaha]

Keep smiling :D and have an ace ace day tomorrow. I think you should write it all down, even if you end up going over a couple - Its too easy to fall into the not-writing trap... Experience speaking there!! x
