Emma's Diary - Finally.

Hello again!

I am back from Norfolk. Was a very naughty girl. We didn't walk half as much as I thought we would, but we still did do a fair bit daily.

I did eat quite badly, seaside fish and chips and pub meals, but still managed to go for some healthy options.

Also, managed to go for a couple walks on my own...one was around 2 1/2 miles, and I managed to run for half a mile (just over 5 minutes, which is my new PB!!!) which only took me around 20-30 minutes. Not blistering pace but I definately wasn't dawdling...not even up the hills.

Got in this morning and weighed myself, and it says 13stone 5lb, but seen as I normally weigh first thing in the morning (and by the evening I normally weight 3-4 lb more) I am going to wait until tomorrow to see where I am now.

Oh, I also have good news for me! Hockey season start tomorrow and I've been promoted to the 2's!! Go me, only been playing for about 4 months and already gone up a team. Another activity to help with fitness!!!
 
My Goals

Sorry for the length of these, but I want to put down my 9 mini goals on the way to my main goal - and also my weeklys.

Giving myself 2lb a week goals.

1. Get under 13 stone = October 6th 2008
2. Lose 1 stone (12 stone 8lb) = October 20th 2008
3. Get under 12 stone = November 24th 2008
4. Lose 2 stone (11 stone 8lb) = December 8th 2008
5. Get under 11 stone = January 19th 2009
6. Lose 3 stone (10 stone 8lb) = February 2nd 2009
7. A HEALTHY BMI! (10stone5lb) = February 16th 2009
8. Get under 10 stone = March 9th 2009
9. Lose 4 stone (9 stone 8lb) = March 23rd 2009
10. FINAL GOAL WEIGHT = 9 stone 4 lb = April 6th 2009

Final goal date (so giving myself room for a couple bad weeks without it being the end of the world) = April 27th 2009

My weight is around 13.3-13.5 still, but again a week of OH birthday, our anniversary and only a couple of days at work so no real routine and a few meals out and drinks!

From tomorrow I am re-starting my gym routine, going to be going at least once a day for the next two weeks to kick-start me again. I know once I go for a couple days this won't be a problem.

Plus I haven't gained any in TWO really naughty weeks of little exercise and not a thought to healthy eating!!

Hopefully in a few weeks I will have done well enough to catch up to my goals and be on track. I hope so, because I akm fed up of feeling the way I do about myself.

My confidence is nil, and i'm fed up of hating myself for my weight.
 
I'm back, with a new confidence filled start. I've decided to calorie count approx a day. Well I've decided that I want to make a 500 cal deficit from my RDA from what I eat, as well as burn more off with exercise. As 3500 cals estimate as a pound I would need to make a deficit of 1000 a day to maintain 2 lb a week loss.

I am starting my new food diary, much more specific - and guess what... stepped on the scales this morning because I forgot to do my weekly weigh on Monday and I'm 13st 2lb. 1lb off half a stone. So with my two dreadful weeks I still feel amazingly on course.

Woo hoo, my new focused start to the week is going great!

I think both monday and tuesday I have approx eaten between 1200-1400 calories, and both days burnt off at least 350-400 if not more. If I have been working out these correctly - my calorie deficit for both days have been closer to 1500 than 1000 I need to lose my 2lb this week, so I definately feel on track! If I keep going this way I may be able to maintain a 3 lb a week loss. FINGERS CROSSED.

Oh, and I'm not depriving myself either. I am drinking water only during the day but allowing myself 1 can of coke at night (139 cals) and 2 squares of 70% cocoa dark chocolate (40 cals) as my treats daily. :D

Hope people that may read this will start posting...I do need to support.
