Cheers Dynamick, aiming to run the whole 10k was abit overenthusiastic for me, I think I got caught up in the moment, lol. I have been jogging everyday but I am now going to cut that down to 3 days a week and cycle the days I dont jog. On Tuesdays I am doing a gentle 2mile jog, then on thurs I am going to work on increasing my speed over 2 miles. At the mo im averaging a 14-15min mile. Then on sun im going to work on distance, keeping a steady pace but increasing it by, I dont know really, maybe 1/2 mile? Does this sound ok? Do you think its enough to be able to walkhalf and jog half of the 10k. I would be very happy with that.
