Everyone else has got one... so now it's my turn

Sorry sorry sorry.
Tuesdays are always hectic for me.
But I'm here (now that everyone's gone to bed).

Right... let's go.

Woke up - didn't want to get up.
But I did, and headed to the gym, later than I'd wanted to though because Tuesdays are always stupid.
No matter how prepared I get the night before, I still won't be ready.
It's because Tuesday is my first day back in the gym after the weekend and I wash my gym clothes over the weekend.
But even if I put my gym clothes by my bed, it still takes me ages.
This morning I couldn't find my car keys and was running all over the place looking for them.

Anyway, got to the gym, and had to phone the doctor whilst at the gym to be able to make an appointment for today.
I hate going to the doctor and I hate making the phone call to make the appointment.
Just a drag. But I've registered for the online booking now, just gotta wait for the details to come through.

Finally got to work for 10 (I like to be there for half 9 at the latest) and the day went quite quick.
Didn't really do much today - put out some stock, priced it, made sture other stock was priced... pretty much it.

Then left half an hour early to get back for my appointment (making up the half hour tomorrow).
Went in, got my pill represcribed and then asked about my dizziness.
She asked if I'd had any other feelings of sickness or headaches or anything, I said no.
She took my blood pressure, said it was perfectly fine.
She checked my ears for an infection, all clear as well.
So she said it could possibly be an inner ear viral infection, and should go away in the next week.
And if I'm still getting dizzy spells this time next week, to go back and get some bloodwork done.
So long story short - I still don't know what's causing the dizziness =(
Just hope that it does go away soon.
It's not fun.

Driving home from the doctor's was fun.
Not.
A few months ago, someone living on the corner of the road that joins into my road, put up a HUGE fence.
You can no longer see round that corner - it's a blind spot now.
Anyway, was driving along, almost home, and a car pulled out of the junction.
She hadn't indicated, hadn't stopped and checked if anyone was coming, just pulled straight out.
In fact, you can tell she hadn't stopped because she'd cut the corner.
Had to slam on my brakes.
Was so close to smashing into the front of her.
And then her and her passenger just stared at me as if I was in the wrong.
Actually thought I was going to hit her.
I'm just very thankful that my brakes work and that my reflexes are so quick.

Anyway, after work & the doctor's & almost smashing up my poor Maisie Rose (that's her name - she's called Maisie because she looks a little bit like a mouse at the front (Maisy Mouse) and Rose because she's a Seat Arosa haha) was youth club.
I'm a volunteer youth worker for a group called Commotion.
They're a group of young people ages 10-18 with special educational needs, such as autism, aspergers and the like.
That runs from 530-730.
Was quite calm today, which was good, because we usually have about 25 young boys running around chasing each other, play fighting, and they get so noisy and boisterous, but today was calmer. So that was nice.

Then straight home and said to mum I needed petrol for the morning so did she fancy a trip to Morrisons.
Got over there, got a few bargains, then just as we were leaving, they were reducing the chilled produce to ridiculous prices.
Blocks of cheese for 29p/39p.
Brie for 9p.
4 packs of 400g of £2 chicken slices for 19p each.
Ginsters Plougmans Rolls for 19p.
2 packs of 8 Walls sausages for 19p each.
Plus so much more.

We took a whole bunch round to grandma and grandad and worked out that they're shopping was supposed to be £26.16 and she got it for £2.96.
Don't even know how much my mum saved on her bargains.

Got home about 10 to 10, where I cooked my dinner.
I took inspiration from Serena a couple of weeks ago and made 'pizza'.

image.jpeg

Consisted of 1 morrisons wrap (4pp)
12g Salad Cream (0pp) & 13g ketchup (0pp) for the base.
50g of the chicken slices bought earlier (1pp) & 30g Cathedral City Lighter cheese (2pp) for the topping.

I'd probably have put some frozen sweetcorn on it, but I just really wanted to eat, so couldn't be bothered.
It tasted so nice that I ate it ridiculously quickly.
If I'd had more points, I'd've probably had 2 wraps for 9pp, split the salad cream & ketchup over two, had 64g of chicken instead of 50g (I worked up I can have up to 64g for 1 point, but decided with 50g because it works out nicely for portioning - think your OCD is catching Serena haha) and then split the cheese over two as well - maybe upped it to the next point, who knows.
But I only had 11 points left, so stuck with 7pp.
A brilliant dinner for 7pp in my opinion.

So that's my day, I'm all caught up on diaries, you're now all caught up on my day.
I'm about to go finish off my last 4 points with an ice cream, and some more fluff, because I really enjoyed the fluff last night.
Mmmmm.

Hope everyone's had a good day.
I probs won't be able to catch up till late again tomorrow as I've got Body Tone & Body Combat tomorrow from 6-7 and 7-8 respectively.
But I'll update when I can.

Sleep well guys.
Know I will tonight haha
x

Wow You're not kidding when you said Tuesdays are busy for you! I'm so pleased u went to the docs, it's a shame u don't know what's causing it t at least u got checked out! I'm so pleased to see my OCD and Pizza Making has passed onto you, you make a good pupil too ;-) I'm loving your bargains, even better than Mine although meat is always cheap in our one too but obviously I don't buy that! Hope u have a good Wednesday and enjoy your classes tonight. X PS-Well Done for resisting the Cake! X

Oh, btw, last night I started a new recipe thread.

Not my recipes, because I can't cook.
But each week my meeting leader sends me ww recipes in a weekly newsletter, and thought it might be nice to share them with everyone, to give people inspiration.
So that's what I've done.
Will update each week when I receive the email.

Yeah, but hopefully it will go away in the next few days, otherwise I'll be back in there =(
I thought of you whilst at work yesterday actually.
I was stocking the shelves with money tins, the kind that have pictures of £5/£10/£20/£50 notes on them, and I thought, Serena would put all the £5 together, all the £10 together etc. So I made a little pattern with them all in the lines together, thinking of you haha.

And thanks. I looked at the cakes in morrisons and nearly bought some until I remembered that I'm on a no cake week this week.

It was also you I was thinking of when I made the recipe thread x

Wow, Serena definitely got into Emma's Brain! I was thinking of you too yesterday, I read an article about how exercise is only 30% of the Weight Loss Journey, Diet accounts for 70% and I thought I knew Emma was a Guru! PS-Your display sounds fab, I'm loving the organisation! X PPS-I also wondered about you yesterday when I saw Jaffa Cake, it took me back to the old question of...is a Jaffa Cake a Cake or a Biscuit and therefore can u have them this week! Lol x

I always think with jaffa cakes the clue is in the name- they're cakes lol!

I hope the dizziness goes away soon Emma.

I don't really know about jaffa cakes.
I'd say maybe biscuit.

But I don't eat them cuz they've got chocolate on them.

Very quick update as supposed to be at the boy's for 9.
Only just got out the shower and haven't had my dinner yet.
Having a repeat of last night's pizza, but with some peppers & onion on and a side of sweet potato chunks from Morrisons.

Another morning of not wanting to get up but fine once down the gym.
Got to work about 5 minutes later than hoped, but stayed the extra couple of minutes at the end.
Also made up the half an hour I missed yesterday because of going to the doctors.
Work went quite quickly, pretty much just putting out stock and pricing it.
I also rearranged an end of a set of shelving.
It looked horrible before and the shelves were so crammed together, you couldn't actually get the stock out, so I asked if I could remerchandise it and was told I could.
It looked much better after I'd finished in my opinion.

Home time, about an hour to kill before body tone, so I prepared!!!
I'm staying at the boy's tonight, so I have to get stuff ready tonight.
I got my gym stuff ready for the morning.
I got my weight watchers stuff ready (go straight after gym).
I got my work clothes ready (go straight from meeting).
I got my lunch ready.
I got my gym class stuff ready (go straight from work). (My class stuff is different to my gym stuff - my gym stuff involves a tight sports top and long trackies - it's really hard to bounce about in class wearing these - the trousers get stuck to my legs and my top rides up, so I have 3/4 length trackies and a looser top for classes).

Then, once I've done all that, get home for about 10 past 7, jump in the shower and back to the boy's.
Thursdays are mental for me as well.

So once that was all done, off to double class it with body tone followed by body combat.
Love them both.
Wednesday is my high activity day and I've earned 25 activity points today.

Just one more gym session before next weigh in tomorrow morning.
Fingers crossed I get my 1.5 stone.
I'm only 1.5lbs away from it.

Anyways, best go, haven't even had chance to catch up on everyone else's threads, but I'll try to sneak some in whilst we're watching The Apprentice. We are so rock & roll it's unreal haha.

Have a good night everyone and speak to you all when I can
x

I'd kill for a jaffa cake right now! But i'll be good.

Oh dear, Day 3 and committing crime for biscuits! X

Yep, busy busy bee.
And thank you for your admiration. It's nice to hear things like that.
But you of course have your own amazing points as well.
Your dedication to vegetarianism, your get up and go, even though you've had a rough year, the way you pick yourself up when you've had a disappointed loss even though there's nothing to be disappointed about at all.
Although I'm sure I would also be disappointed if I worked as hard as you do and had a smaller loss than hoped.

and good luck for tomoros WI

Haha. I never used to be.
I honestly didn't think 2 months ago that I'd spend so much time down the gym.
When the boy suggested I sign up to the gym, I really wasn't convinced.
Now I can't get enough of the place.
But it's probably because I'm scared to give up the manic routine I've created in case it slows down my weight loss haha.
I've not been wanting to get up because I've been staying up til 12 catching up on here.
Usually I go to bed at 10 haha.

And thanks.
I'll let you all know how I got on asap.

Yep, just spotted it.
It's not my fault.
I told you to buy the deluxe starter kit at the beginning.
Not my fault it took you this long to realise how amazing and brilliant I am and that you should listen to me more often haha :p ;)
Although, tbh, back then, you didn't really know me as well, so it was just a recommendation from someone on a forum, rather than a brilliant suggestion from a minimins friend.
But I'm sure you'll enjoy the benefit of it.
You'll get to see how many points you earn walking to and from the school.

Just casually raving in the living room to a body combat song trying to get enough steps to get my next activity point.
As ya do =D

Lol! Was only kidding ya! At least it will make Walking to School in the drizzle seem even more worth it! I must say that every if the Scales don't show a Loss tomorrow or its a very small loss again my shape is definitely changing so the Walking must be helping me to tone up. X
