Although over the past 2 years I have been ever so grateful to Evans for producing nice clothes for large ladies, I do feel cross that because they have the monopoly on plus-sized clothing on the high street they are expensive.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel that Evans take the mickey a bit ?

Yes their quality has gone down hill in a big way. I have gone down from a 30 to (I think) a 24 - so I am looking forward to investigating asda, tesco, matalan, new look etc as alternatives!

Not only are they expensive but their sizes aren't consistent either! The same trousers but in different colours, one pair fit perfectly, the other didn't!

Sooo glad to walk straight past that shop now!

Oh yep evans take the pee big time and I am soooo pleased I can shop elsewhere now and get bargains. It won't be long before your shopping horizon widens and are spoilt for choice and say bye bye Evans for good xx.

I'm still about a size 20-22 but refuse to shop in Evans because of their prices - love New Look and Matalan!

I loathe Evans... i really do.
So happy that i don't have to - and will never again (mark my words) shop in there again. Expensive because they've got a captive market... grrrrr

I actually went clothes shopping with a friend (who has lost over 100lbs herself!!) on the weekend... and I really enjoyed it! Being able to try on clothes and not have a hissy fit in the changing rooms, clothes fitting and clothes actually looking rather nice!

What a treat that was... suppose i'd better get used to it!! hahahaha

Like High and Mighty where I used to have to shop. They sell some nice, quality gear but the prices are just taking the pi$$...

So glad I can buy from anywhere now :D I nerdily bought a Lego Boba Fett T-shirt from Game the other day, my son is now jealous lol

Thanks for your replies all, have enjoyed reading them and feel like I have got my Evans grrr off my chest now.....although there's still a lot to get off my ample chest.
Think your t-shirt sounds cool Jim, remember good old Fern Brittain has been snapped wearing younger fashions(oh god not that I'm saying your her age or anything-size 8's currently in my mouth) since her weight loss, must be nice to have the choice.:D
