Hi

Has anyone got a recipe for SW chicken Kiev that doesn't involve quark or frontage frais? Really fancy it and debating whether a bit of laughing cow cheese mixed with garlic would work

Thank x

Hi Amy.
Just go for it!
I have used laughing cow cheese for several meals and it has worked ok. the only thing you need to sort out is what to use for a coating! You could use couscous that has been spiced up with spices, just dip the chicken in beaten egg then in the couscous until it's fully coated then cook in the oven until cooked and the coating has gone browned, syn free coating! If you use breadcrumbs remember to use your daily Heb allowance......

I'd just stuff the chicken with lots of garlic and parsley, then coat it in beaten egg and smash.
In fact, that's what I'm going to make for dinner. I think I might spray the inside of the chicken with some butter frylight to see of that adds any flavour.

That looks gorgeous! What is dry smash? The only smash I can think of is the instant mash stuff...

It is the instant mash Elle lol - I used it yesterday for the first time on onion rings. Dip the rings in beaten egg then coat in mash flakes/powder
